I went to Joann's today and needed a secure item to be unlocked. I approached a team member in the next aisle, who directed me to go to the cashier for assistance. What! Why would I go all the way to the cashier, wait in line to unlock something? Poor customer service. The items I had in my hands, I politely placed them right where I was and left the store. Found all items on Amazon at half the price, and they will be shipped overnight.

Ridiculous calling the store for 1 hr with no answer after buying a broken item. Literally 1 hr. They normally have stock on the shelves but it was kind of empty! Very upsetting

They usually have what I’m looking for and they’re usually fairly stocked up on most things. They are definitely understaffed but that’s to be expected. Every staff interaction I’ve had has been lovely. They are very willing to help

SHOUT OUT TO THE MANGER AND SAM ON DUTY TODAY!!! Thank you sooo much for being patient and understanding about my mother’s Singer sewing machine exchange. Unfortunately we didn’t get the same service in Milford, CT. Me and mom were losing hoping thinking no one will help us fix our sewing machine not even the Singer sewing machine company. Thank you, Sam for helping my mom with making sure that the new sewing machine works and being EVERY patient with us. Not going to any other Joann fabric location instead of Joann fabric Scarsdale,NY.

As another reviewer stated no prices they ripped out the price checkers years ago & never replaced them. How is that customer service? I never found the staff to be rude but first you must find them. My experience is they want to be helpful but the stores keep it understaffed & even in the quietest parts of the day you will wait in line. I'm a visual artist so I don't understand why they're stocked w candles, ready to wear jewelry & pre-made decorations along w plaques saying Live Love Laugh when they could stock a more extensive selection of art supplies. Not for the truly creative.

No price labels on most items. The items that were labeled were incorrect apparently. The store looked trashed like it was going out of business. Very disorganized and messy. Many shelves weren’t even stocked. Ridiculous. I’ll go to Micheal’s next time.

They do not offer curbside pick up like stated. They will not come to your car even though there’s an option online for curbside pickup. When you address it to sales associates and managers, they are rude and do not have empathy. They are lazy and will make you come inside if you have online pickup. Horrible service

I love love this store ! Definitely the place to go for all kinds of fabric, organization, and little supplies. Sometimes I don't come for a while and then im back often when im into my crafts. BUT I HAVE A COMPLAINT, wth don't they sell sewing machine screwdrivers for the components to open. I attached a pic so you know what im talking about. please joann's have all the supplies we need!!!

Large variety of things if they’re actually where there supposed to be. The older lady cashier and young lady who was at the fabric cutting station were super lovely. But the lady who I think was the manager, black lady around 30-40s had the worst attitude towards customers I’ve ever seen and was just absolutely rude and condescending. She was literally getting loud with a customer and talking down to them as if they were her kids, mind you she was speaking to someone who was prob old enough to be her mother, I genuinely felt so bad for the customer she was speaking to because she was just looking for a specific yarn and got a nasty response back from someone who’s supposed to help. Staff like this is what makes customers not return. Based on the other reviews this isn’t the first case where a staff member gets out of hand with a customer and by the sound of it it’s the same worker I’m describing.

This place is ridiculous, how was I told my items were ready for pick up and when I go to the store I’m told items aren’t available according to a manager “I won’t get charged for the items” when I got charged. Anyways I proceeded to the back and found the Items I purchased as I was told they weren’t in stock. Once I approached the manager, the manager was nasty didn’t want to explain the reason why she had told me items weren't in stock when I found them. Then the manager told me “ if I have to explain, I will be taking off my keys and there will be serious problems”. Very disgusting and rude. Another manager who was listening got involved and delt with my whole situation. I will never go back to that store… very disrespectful and disgusting as I told her to work there … all I wanted was to get my items and go not be disrespected. Also, at the end of the day I was charged for the items not like they were free.
