Newly discovered place with a wonderful selection of fruits. My son went in with me. Any place that can introduce a new fruit and get my picky eater child to eat is by far worth the money.

This was my first time and my last. Every piece of fruit I bought was bad by the next day. Two kinds of pears, peaches and mandarin oranges. And this place is very expensive. Each pear was almost $3.00. My friend loves this place and I was in the neighborhood, so I tried it. I found the staff person really nice and very friendly, but I went there for good fruit and had to throw most of it out. There is a farm fruit stand on Palmer Avenue behind Pius X school in Scarsdale - not too far from this place. (I don't know the name.) That place has amazing produce, all kinds, and plants and juice. Also reasonable prices. And very friendly woman who helps you. I always try to go there and recommend that as an alternative to Hutchinson Farms. Sorry, I did want to like it. . .

i visited hutchinson farms in scarsdale on a saturday morning and glad i did. they carry an extensive selection of fruits , veggies , organic foods , spreads, soups, bean dips, nuts, sauces , spices. fruit and veggie trays and much more indeed.yes you will pay a little more but the quality and freshness is well worth it. the folks who run this place really do a great job in displaying the produce so you can see everything thats available. what was suppose to be a tag along with my cuz who was picking up some veggies for his salad , turned into a grab some fruits , bean salad , and salsa sauce for me. the plums , almonds , black bean dip were taken by my bro without my knowledge which means i am coming back next saturday to get more . nice place to get your fruits , veggies and more without going to a farmers market. 4.5 stars on my yelp meter.

Simply the best fruits, vegetables and soups around. Owner takes great pride in only offering great quality, even in off season. They recently prepared two beautiful fruit trays for my daughters birthday party - everyone was raving at the awesome quality and presentation.

The finest fruit and vegetable market in Westchester county by far. The products here are unmatched in quality anywhere else. The small size and friendly staff at Hutchinson Farms has become a welcomed change of pace in a world dominated by large chain stores. You simply can’t beat a small business where every single item is hand picked by the owner and proudly displayed making everything look just as appealing as it should! The fruit simply tastes different than from other stores and I mean that in the best way possible. Freshness is something we all crave but have rarely experienced....unless you shop at Hutchinson Farms. Great local favorites in season and top of the line prepared foods, fruit salads and other delicious items cover every square inch of this not so hidden gem. When it comes to quality the owner spares no expense often paying top dollar to give his customers the best possible product so paying a few dollars more than a corporate run grocery store is a small price to pay for top of the line goods right in the heart of eastchester/Scarsdale. It is a must visit and I challenge anyone to find a better Salsa or Guacamole anywhere in lower NY State!

These people have no idea that there is a pandemic. I was a customer and my experience is firsthand.No one practices social distancing and the owner didn't even have a mask. One snotty worker tried to tell me I didn't know what time they closed. I actually was there 10 minutes before closing time but she had no idea. Her interest was in getting the hell out of there.They have good product at ridiculous prices. I would never go back they have no respect for their customers

This market is one of the best in Westchester if not the entire state. This day in age, it is rare to find a market that hand picks every piece of produce on it's shelves but that is still being practiced daily by Hutchinson Farms. It is so refreshing that there is still a place like Hutchinson Farms that has stood the test of time as a small business and there is a good reason for that. I have never had a bad piece of fruit from this market and the creativity of the owner guarantees that there will always be new and exciting items fully stocked. I dare you to find a better salsa anywhere and I stand by that statement. There are levels in quality when it comes to produce and Hutchinson Farms is certainly at the top of the top. During this Pandemic they have served the community with pride by offering constant delivery service and curb side pick up. During these times, they have remained open every day and fully stocked to make sure that people had access to the highest quality goods for them and their families. When the owner risks his own health by continuing to hand pick the produce for his customers, that says something about his character and commitment. I will always support this business and if you haven't yet been, I highly recommend stopping by!
