Need I say more? I had mice chewing underneath my sink to get in. I sealed that off and they started coming in through my bedroom. The roaches come in nonstop. I buy glue traps on a regular basis to catch anything while I'm asleep. Then to make matters worse, the roaches started invading my bedframe. They invaded my fridge and I find them dead in my food. I have yet to receive a new refrigerator. The back of my stove was filled with rodent droppings. The broiler has rodent droppings stuck to it so if I attempt to turn the oven on, I can smell the droppings burning. The garbage is always piled up and the people on the south side enjoy stealing packages. Too bad rent is skyrocketing, so I have to just bare it.

Frustrating Living ExperienceI regret to share my disappointing experience with my current landlord. Despite reporting numerous maintenance issues, the apartment remains in disrepair. Additionally, the landlord's approach to rent arrears seems excessively punitive, leading to legal actions for minor delays. This has created an unnecessarily stressful living environment. 0 star

Merry is very difficult to work with when it comes to making rent payments. You miss one month of payment and they block you from paying your rent online. This is unacceptable and illegal. Do not rent from this company. They will make everything much more difficult than it needs to be.

This has been quite a horrible experience. My apartment has been experiencing so many leaks and to get them to even fix anything has been a tax. My things keep getting damaged. I called because of the leaks I have been experiencing only to be called 4 weeks later by the building manager.

Never though i’d need to go through this much work to make sure my rent was paid. At the beginning of the lease, instructions were sent for an online payment portal. Portal crashed and all bank transfers never went through, management company didn’t pick up any 10 of the calls we made. When we finally heard back, we were told to wire the payment (which costs 25 each time) or drop off a check (let’s be honest who still uses a checkbook. After five or so emails we were told that an online portal did not exist. I could teach my middle school cousin to do a better job.

If you rent or lease anything you will get the help you need but on their time and you will only get in contact with the owner once after any neg.

Apartment: 1576 Taylor Ave, Bronx, NY, 10460My application was approved to become a tenant for one of the apartments. Had an associate visit my house for a “home visit” which I’m very sure is illegal. I’ve never had any apartment, nor anyone else that I know, had management come into my home for a visit which led me to believers that they’re discriminatory against their applicants. Had me sign a tenant agreement just to let me know a month after I was supposed to move in that I should’ve moved on to finding other places to live. Kept giving me the run around and was in limbo the WHOLE TIME dealing with them. Kept getting told that the Move in date would be Sept 1, 2021. ONE WEEK before moving in, was told that it would be postponed to the 15th instead. Waited again one week before the NEW move in date to contact them again to confirm, and it’s been postponed again. RIDICULOUS! Moved on to finding another apartment elsewhere.

The elevator never works and they never answer the phone at the office, this is crazy everyday 6th floors with a 2 year old and a stroller.

DO NOT move into anything this company owns. Their tenants are loud and unruly and they don't do anything about it! Do yourself a favor and don't bother moving into any of their buildings, take your money somewhere else!!!
