I don’t know if they have changed their management but the GM is rude and condescending. I tried to explain something to her and she just kept smirking at me like I was an idiot. The staff is pushy about the credit card which I explained I had from Gap. The clothes have lost their magic and boring boring colors. Nobody is wearing red. Maybe ask your customers what they are looking for. Maybe I’ll get better service in Greenwich.

I ditto the experience posted by another google reviewer. The manager was awful. Very harsh and abrasive attitude handling of a product defect for which I obtained a case# when I called customer support. When I got to this store I initially dealt with the assistant manager who was terrific which is why I gave 2 stars. But when she reached out to the manager for guidance that's when the experience went all downhill. I really felt like I was being scolded for an issue I did not cause. After leaving the store I decided to return to let her know that I am an easy going person and was not happy with the way she interacted with me for which she did say thank you for the feedback. But still not acceptable. Especially since the item I was returning had a manufacturing issue. Yes, I purchased the product last summer however when I called customer support I was told it does not matter when it was purchased if there is a defect. And note I am careful with how I wear and launder my clothing. There are too many other companies with great sportswear who in my experience have always provided a friendly and fantastic in-store experience. I will never purchase Athleta merchandise.

The store manager, Dorian was horrible. She was rude, mean and completely disrespectful. With Lulu coming any day, you should be much nicer to your customers. Shame on management. The other sales people tried to be helpful but she had the final say. I am a yoga instructor and recommend this store all the time. May not anymore.

As a former employee of the brand I love what the brand stands for but hated the customer service from this store, as a poc I felt unwelcome by the associates and ignored, so I decided to order online instead of giving this store my money. As a brand that is supposed to be inclusive and accepting, the environment and ambiance from this store was far from that

I love Athleta stores. I usually shop in Manhattan, so it's very good to have one close to home.

Was helped by a great staff. One person signed me into my try on room. Another ordered my items online for me. Another person helped me at the register. It was a very nice clean and great atmosphere. There is parking and stores right next door. Was very happy with the customer service.

I visited the store with my mom this afternoon as I am a micro influencer on social media and was in search of new attire for my videos.Although I was apprehensive because of a past experience, my mom insisted I check out this location. We spent a total of 30 minutes in the store looking at the merchandise- putting outfits together amongst one another (my mom and I) and not one employee greeted us, asked us if we needed assistance or even cracked a smile. Instead- they insisted on playing eye tag with me a couple of times. The closest "customer service" experience I received was from a gentlemen which I assume to be Lost Prevention; because as I was bent down looking for my size in a sports bra- we made eye contact instantly he looked away and made a slow stroll to another area of the store- weird. We spent a total of $327- which is easily doable in Athleta- but once we were checking out, we made this experience known to the cashier, and all she said was "Oh okay.."Now I know we (as human beings) should be sensitive and patient with stores and employees whilst still in a pandemic. But in my opinion, the lack of customer service and positive customer experience was a CHOICE made by the employees-- not a mere occurrence due to high volume/guidelines.I only hope this isn't the culture of the brand but this has definitely made it clear to me that it will be a very rare occurrence to shop here again. In fact- I'll be sure to return everything tomorrow.Horrible.

UPDATE 10/16:The general store manager, Valerie wrote my mom an email maybe 2 days (at the most) after our visit. She expressed her apologies and was gracious enough to follow up and show what true customer service is like. Thank you, Valerie. So much.
