We went there this past Saturday for two passports (by appointment) and Kim as well as the other person on staff (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name) were absolutely wonderful. They made the process quick and easy and an overall great experience. That location is very pleasant to go to, and would recommend for passports. Thanks again to Kim for all your help.

The Saugerties Post Office Strikes Again! We received mail -not junk mail, but what looked like bills or notices from an insurance company, the NYS Dept. of Labor and maybe a check?) for three different addresses that are not remotely related to our address - not on the same road and not any address we recognized. Is the individual who delivers the mail illiterate? Incredibly careless? Incompetent? Or just damn lazy? Perhaps all of the above. My husband had to make a special trip to our P.O. in order to return the mail (which was NOT junk mail) - which we sincerely hope reach the correct recipients. If the letter was for a neighbor, one of us would have been happy to give it to them directly or place it in the correct mailbox - unfortunately, not the case. And not our job to figure out where the addresses are and deliver the mail for our tax payer-supported local Post Office.

There is something rotten happening at the Saugerties post office. Since moving into town, I have had certified letters never show up and disappear in their offices. When complained about, nothing was done. I've had mail carrier lie about someone signing for things only for no one to ever sign for them... and for them to be dropped off anyway. When complained about, the person on the phone was dismissive and condescending. It feels like everyone in town has a story of an important package or letter that was "dropped off" when it wasn't or disappeared in their office. As the play says, "Something is rotten in Denmark." I'm working with the national post office now to try to get a proper investigation launched. Do NOT trust anything important, valuable, or anything that needs to be signed for to be handled by this post office because you'll either never see it or they'll lie about delivery or they'll sign for you and stuff it in your mailbox. Mail package trucks were out on our street on Easter Sunday... what? Why on earth would USPS be working on Easter Sunday? There is something rotten happening in Saugerties at the post office and I truly hope those responsible for it get their just compupance.

The lady that takes the passport pictures is a witch. Not only rude and evil eye but her stare its like a horror movie feeling as soon as she sets eyes on you its like this dark energy that gives you the creeps.

Beware the distracted man-crazy witchy looking ginger haired lady. She’s messed up every piece of mail I’ve ever handed her. Please use one of the other hard-working, more intelligent other ladies. They’re superb.

On the weekends Whenever our normal nail person is not working we either don't get mail or the wrong mail and forget packages they are delivered to the wrong address ? calling is a joke.

My package has been sitting there for 3 days and not moved, I call to ask about it and they tell me they just got it today, it's not sorted and I can't come pick it up, all in all extremely frustrated with them right now, worst experience with them so far
