I absolutely love this store. The owner is very friendly and customer service oriented. Has an amazing variety of products, and is always willing to help identify the product you may need. The item that brought me into shopping at this store was the dog food that I use for my two boys. The dog food brand is not carried in your typical commercial pet store. Going to purchase my boys dog food is absolutely a great experience…. Best part is supporting a local business.

Saugerties is lucky to have this business. They have a great inventory of top notch pet food and products. Very friendly and informative. You can tell they care a great deal about their business and confident in the products they sell. They are very generous to new adopted pet owners. This store is the only retailer i have found, nearest Athens... that carries Stella and Chewies.My sweet lady dog is a picky eater. I am grateful to have found her food, without having to special order it. The pricing is good for this food.The store is otherwise well stocked with high quality foods and produces. The clerk is a sweetheart.Thank you Saugertails!

This pet supply store is adorable. Good prices, unique and fun toys and treats for all types of animals. The owner, Amy, is knowledgeable of all breeds of animals and the inventory in her store. She’s helpful, friendly and personable.

The shop is new. She had fun toys which were unique. The pet food options for dogs were priced very well and there were enough options to ensure all dogs would find the right meal. I also was impressed with the free samples offered for dog food.I am a New Yorker and have been to many a fancy pet store. I have to say, her prices were great. The store was bright snd clean snd the options were plenty. Definitely will go shopping there again the next time we are in saugerties. Our pooch loved it as well. The owner was super friendly.

It is extremely difficult to find toys that my 90lb German Shepherd and I can play with without the toy ripping and tearing to shreds as we play. We bought a stuffed skunk at Saugertails and when I say this thing is durable I mean it. My dog and I play with this toy almost daily and I still looks likes new months after purchase. I couldn't recommend this shop and it's products more!
