When driving to NYC from Vermont with friends, our check engine light came on and we lost the ability to accelerate. After calling a local dealer who couldn’t help us, we starting searching for auto repair places. Good Guys Auto was amazing. They thought they might be able to turn the car around in 24 hours and looked at it immediately as we arrived. Fortunately it was an easy fix and we were back on the road in under an hour. Beyond this excellent service, they were kind and just clearly GOOD guys. Thank you!!!

Fantastic mechanics, well run shop.
Gave legit information, work came in under estimate, mechanic was friendly, generous with his time explaining what was needed and did a small extra safety thing at no charge just because he noticed it.
Cannot recommend this shop enough. Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Will never take my cars any where else.

I would be very very cautious with the mechanics and owners of this business. They will make you change unnecessary Parts because they do not want to take the time to troubleshoot your car. The problem with most mechanics these days is they don't want to take the time to troubleshoot your car and that's a big problem. In a way it's like highway robbery and yet they're getting away with it. Someone who's mechanically inclined and has had my experience at that shop will know exactly what I'm talking about.

If you ever need an auto mechanic, these guys are the way to go. They are always friendly, honest and professional. Mechanics are top notch and honest. Very affordable.... It should be called great guys auto!!!

It’s so rare to find a mechanic that you feel is trustworthy, fairly priced, and knowledge. Blaze, and the rest of the staff at Good Guys, consistently meet all three. I can always feel confident with the advice they give and the service they perform. What a gift to have such a great business locally! Definitely holding on to these guys for all my service and repair needs.

I had a slow flat on a Saturday, November 5, 2023. Riding through Sugerties I stopped at the Good Guys Auto. I thought it was open. One of the men came over and I explained I was looking for a ire repair. He said he would take a look. He removed the tire, found the screw in the tire, repaired it, put the tire back on the car.I asked him how much, beng quite grateful . He said, "forget it. we are closed, just cleaning up the shop." and walked away. My first experience of a GOOD GUY in 86 years. Would always use that shop
