Lots of restored antique lighting. Not cheap but nice stuff and nicely rewired. Prices are firm. Tight store. A little overwhelming when trying to choose fixtures for your home. Owner is a little funny about anyone going in the back room where the bulk of the inventory is. He must have his reasons! Maybe people steal or break his treasures. We bought a couple of fixtures. He packed them very well. They work great and really enhance our 1810 home. Cash or check only. No CC. Will likely shop there again.

Amazing collection of antique light fixtures! A gem that I’m excited to frequent throughout our historic home renovation.

Please don't waste your time! Owner is rude and completely unhelpful. Not interested in selling his merchandise only being condescending to his customers.

The shop owner was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I brought in 2 vintage antique lights for repair. He did an excellent job replacing wiring and sockets. I feel safe now everything updated and he tested them in the store for me before I left to make sure I was satisfied. While I was there I was amazed at all the unique lamps, their materials, shapes, sizes, their colors all different. I could not help myself and bought 2 hanging lights with hand painted European scenes. The hand painted globes ( store owners call them shades, I learned), were so delicately made and had gorgeous scenes with colorful, beautiful glows. Enchanting they are, the detail, I knew if I waited and came back for them later they would be gone and it would haunt me for a long time. I learnt that lesson the hard way before. Now I am at home in my "Enchanted Cottage", with my genuine vintage lighting that gives such warmth and quality to my home it is awesome, it's changed everything. I'm so glad to have this shop in Saugerties.

Nice store with some cool fixtures but can’t really repair anything. Don’t bring anything too complicated. You’ll waste both your time and the owner’s.

Amazing stuff in here if you’re willing to explore! It’s a tight fit so plan to spend a bit of time moving slowly and if you have bags or other things I’d plan to leave them behind or in the car before exploring.

This is such an incredible resource. Huge array of vintage and antique lights that have all been rewired (at very reasonable prices). The negative reviews seem kind of suspicious. Why would anyone go to a shop that specializes in vintage lighting and complain that the merchandise was all vintage? It makes no sense. The collection is extensive and the bathroom hardware is really spectacular - all stuff that would sell for many times as much in the city.

This place is stuffed to the rafters with high quality antique lights and other finishes. The owner also repairs lights skillfully. And his prices are fair! I'm so grateful to have a shop like this keeping beautiful lights and other fixtures out of the landfill.

An amazing resource for antique/vintage lighting filled floor to ceiling with lighting, lamps, some mirrors, antique bathroom trim and vintage sinks. It can be overwhelming so it’s good to come knowing exactly what you want. There is Victorian mostly, with a lot of schoolhouse and a few Art Deco scattered in. Owner was friendly and helpful! The store has been there for 44 years. We have been renovating an old Victorian for three years and I am always on the hunt. These pieces are affordable and working! Any negative viewers really don’t know what they are talking about.

Fun store to experience with some truly unique pieces. We've purchased a few items from here and they really make a place feel like home.

For anybody who gives this shop a poor review because the fixtures are outdated, please note that the main photo for the shop has the word "Antiques" on it 3 times!!!I bought two beautiful fixtures; one Victorian and one Edwardian, both in fine condition and properly electrified and re-electrified. The owner was just fine; he had to rearranged displays to make the sale and he wrapped the glass for both items carefully for my drive home.

I have a feeling a group of reviewer’s above were some arrogant people i’m thinking they’re just in some small town where they were probably from anyway and moved to New York City for three years and act like they are extremely special Requiring special treatmentsince many of us who live here and Saugerties are not originally from here so they blow into some “small town“ and expect special treatmentfound the owner extremely friendly helpful he fixed two lamps for meHe has beautiful inventory of vintage lamps and I am hoping I to get a few for new house as I’ve been renter in Saugerties for 20 years watching the influx of people above no matter I grew up in the south and moved to New York City as young teen I hate watching the arrogance of these people who I’m sure the shop owner didn’t want to sell anything to them for a reason

Wanted to find some modern lights for my new house. Nothing but old fashion lights that are not in style anymore. So disorganized and cluttered from floor to ceiling.
