I brought in 1 pair of shoes and 2 pairs of boots to have the soles replaced. After wearing one pair of the boots only a few times, the sole on the heel cracked, and a piece fell off. I returned to have the heels repaired, but the person helping me could not find my work order. They had my name and phone number, but nothing else. I had to wait many days for the owner to return to look at the boots. The determination was that the soles were plastic, and they do not use plastic. Since they had my contact info and no work order they put my boots back on the shelf for pickup.I highly recommend that you keep your receipt with everything repaired.Horrible customer service! I will never go back!

This place is actually awful. Cannot sew a straight line. Hems we’re jagged, squared the back of a shirt while the front was round. Amateur at best. Will never go again.

I purchased a sample sale wedding dress recently and wanted it dry cleaned before alterations per the recommendation of the shop I bought it from. The shop recommended Spa Garment Care. My dress was done very quickly but when I got it back home I noticed they had hung it up by the illusion straps only and not the separate straps it comes with specifically for hanging. The illusion straps are very delicate and thin and we're on the hanger all twisted. I'm surprised my dress wasn't ruined from a torn strap. Additionally there is a piece of lace that is torn on the bottom. Their staff are careless there.

I dropped off a shoe that needed an eyelet no put back in. What they didn’t tell me is the fee would be $25. That’s anything at all. Had I known it would be $25 I would’ve continued to thread it without the eyelet. When I complained, I was told I should have asked what the price would be.

Extortionate prices. I regularly have shoes and boots recapped to extend the life of my footwear. This time I decided to stay local. I've never paid more than $15 a pair to have the heel capped. Ever. I was charged $60 for 2 pair of inexpensive boots. After complaining to a friend she had an even worse story - $110 for a straight hem on a dress with no liner and $45 to replace a zipper! If you still decide to drop anything off here they do not post or disclose what they are going to charge ahead of time so ask! I will never be back that's for sure!

Dropped my sneakers off to have a small piece of rubber on the toe that had come loose glued back in place. The other sneaker had a tiny bit of loosening. This probably took a few drops of glue and securing while glue dried! BIG mistake going here! When I picked them up they charged me $30.00! $30 for maybe 5 minutes of work and cents worth of product.When I almost choked, the woman at the counter says "that's the shoemakers price". Should have sprung for a tube of gorilla glue!Never again will I or any family member use this business for any reason. I know times are tough, but REALLY??? Don't waste your $$$.

I used their service for alteration and for cleaning my fur and leathers respectively. There was a problem with the latter. In this day and age when many businesses are taking advantage of clients by using the excuse of “pandemic” for subpar results, I was more than astounded and deeply grateful for Mr. Tom Nigro’s resolution to our dispute in the cleaning of my white leather 911 Memorial coat. Mr. Nigro was above all, professional, knowledgeable of the leather cleaning process, sympathetic to my situation, and a good businessman. Although we politely agreed to disagree, I was utterly satisfied with the resolve and will be returning to do business at Spa Garment Care and encourage others to do the same.The cleaning of the reversible fur/leather coat—reasonable; the quality on the work to replace snap hooks to standard hooks of a fur coat was impeccable, price for work was reasonable. (Picture demonstrates an overall great cleaning job of a white leather ten years old.)Service: Alterations

I was so pleased to find a location that could not only do pick up at my home for dry cleaning but also take care of shoe repair and tailoring. They were fast, professional and the very affordable. Spa Garment is now my go-to spot!

I unpacked four pairs of shoes this morning while the salesperson watched. She then told me they were unable to say whether they would be ready in three weeks. This is a statement she could have made when I entered the shop. This woman has a lot of attitude. Based on her surly unhelpful attitude, I wonder whether this shop will be in business in a month. Note-any business which deals with the public is in the hospitality business as well.

I've used them for dry cleaning, tailoring and shoe repair and they did a perfect job every time. Prices are reasonable and they are very accommodating. I highly recommend Spa Garment Care.

I brought an expensive coat to spa garment to get the zippered repaired and coat cleaned. When returned the coat was in better condition when purchased.

First time customer : Brought a jacket in for both pockets to be repaired and the front zipper , one pocket was done correctly , the other was half partially stitched as if they forgot to stitch one side of the pocket to the jacket , and the zipper was put on the left side(women’s clothing) instead of the right.. poor quality , I’ll never go back.Service: Alterations

I went to Spa Garment to have a hand bag repaired and specifically asked for a price quote before they repaired it. I was assured I would get a call in a few days with the quote. The quote never came so I called and was told that the purse was repaired and the price was double what I expected. I said that I never got a call and they said they texted me. I gave them my home phone number so no text was received and no permission was given. I asked why they fixed it anyway and was told they don't have time to call everyone and they assume no response means it's ok. Seriously!!! No response is approval!!!! I asked them to work with me on the price over this misunderstanding but they would not. Whatever happened to customer service. Well you won't find it here. I should have read the other reviews and then I would have been forewarned. K.D.
