I have brought a lap top in for months. Best Buy has repair the lap top several times for the same reason to be fix. It never gets fixed. A program loaded by Best Buy, doesn't work right and was told hackers can get in or it will stop working. Lap top was bought in 2023. I was told Buy this it will fix it, nop. Forget the online text, over sea they opt in make it worse.

Not a fan of best buy anymore. I used to love going here and seeing all they have. Now it's just mostly overpriced electronics you can get cheaper online. They aren't able to do many apple repairs. Also, I tried calling to inquire about a $800 purchase and was unable to reach anyone in the store, they only use call centers now.

I went to Best Buy in Saratoga Springs NY. I was purchasing a computer. I did my research and knew what I wanted and told them that. A man from the geek squad counter said he could help me. Started trying to talk me into a different computer, I didn't want. I told him I really wanted the one I came for. Proceeded to tell me that the one I was looking at had a lot more than I needed and could save a little by purchasing the other . I kept saying I liked the one I chose and he was telling me the other had everything the one I was looking at just smaller and he would hate to see me purchase one that I wouldn't use to the full potential. He said the other one was just smaller and didn't have the same graphics. I caved and purchased the one I didn't really care for out of pressure from the best buy employee. Get it home and the ports are too small for what I need. There is no number pad. There are a lot of differences. I want to return it and was told I would have to purchase the other one first. The only way I can do the exchange without doing that is if I bring my old computer and the new one in, make an appointment with geek squad and do a huge amount of running around. I am currently on the phone trying to simply connect with the store, but they will not answer. I keep being sent to people who have foreign languages that are not at the store. I had no idea best buy was like this. What a horrible experience I am having. Very stressful. Even in the comment below they admit that they do not let calls go directly to their store. So if you have a problem you will not be able to talk to the store but will have to drive sometimes a long distance to get answers or be sent on phone to someone you may not be able to understand. That is not good customer service.

Spilt a large coffee on my laptop. Could not get it open with the tools I had at home to clean it so brought it in without much hope. Justin was able to get it open and clean it out and get it working again. Really saved me here, thank you.

Made an appointement to have a battery replacement in my work iPad. Was told it would have to be sent to Apple because they don’t actually do that….. yet it says so on the website. Then the repairman literally tried to talk me into buying a new one, told me to wait for a sales associate, and twenty minutes later, still waiting, i just walked out….. there were less than ten people in the store. Bye bye Best Buy.

I shop here once in a while and the customer service is excellent, Im usually able to find what im looking for and everyone is very helpful. Today I worked with Michelle who helped me find a laptop charger that fit my laptop, great customer service as always

Good location been here a bunch of times in the past 2 years and have bought thousands of dollars worth of electronics here from PS5 to 2 Nintendo switches and and iPad I love it! Being a beat buy total member is totally worth it!
