I drove 40 minutes to get there to pick up a prescription, and was told “sorry you got an 8 day, so you must wait until tomorrow” bevause even their own pharmacists dont realize that when you pick up a prescription at 11am on a certain day, that THAT day counts, so now I don’t have medicine that I need because they can’t notice this simple detail. Now I don’t have the medicine I absolutely need for another 24 hours because of their inability to do basic math. My doctor agrees, they’re definitely a weird pharmacy that makes up their own rules and doesn’t follow NYS/US regulations. The cashiers/pharmacists were not rude or anything about it, but still. I know if I had argued I would’ve been told to leave, so there is absolutely 0 things you can do to get this issue that is clearly their fault resolved. Somebody needs to hold these people accountable.

The pharmacy here has been helpful a few different times when there's been bumps in the road to my medication. I also love their inventory here! Overall, this place is MUCH better than the chain pharmacies. Keep up the good work!

Josiah behind the pharmacy desk, isn’t the most polite. I informed him I had a discount card for my prescription, and he raised his voice in frustration; apparently the person in the drive through also had a discount and only one person can do it, so I have to wait. Maybe it was a bad day for him. However the pharmacist immediately came over and took care of things, they were swift and had good manners. The man was kind and had good bed-side manners. If you are to refer to customer getting prescriptions as patients, then also remember some of them are picking up medication for pain, or metal illness. A little kindness and patience can go along way.

Pharmacy staff (specifically one woman with long brunette hair, Gabrielle) are absolutely miserable. She acted like it was my issue that she didn’t apply my insurance and unwillingly went to look it up after pretending like I’ve never been there. There is one delightful young lady with short colored hair but the rest are miserable. On another note, I witnessed them handling pills with their bare hands and that makes me uncomfortable. Switching my pharmacy asap.

The women at the window r so rude the blonde had all she could do to get me 3 items she only got one rite if I wasn't so sick I would of went over to dollar general but being the state I was in I went through the drive thru boy was that a huge mistake. The women have serious attitude an very rude they act as tho it's to much trouble. I just don't understand why they have to be so rude an this has been going on for years I mean is it really that bad working into the pharmacy? Theses women act as tho they have all they can do to help you.?????????????

Covid test taken a week ago. No result. That's atrocious. No one should use your service, it's an utter waste of an hour.

I cannot express how utterly disappointing their pharmacy service is. On a realistic level they are very much understaffed, which results in longer lines, not answering phones, not filling one’s prescription on time, to most recently—and I kid you not— not having enough of your medication (even though the script was sent in three days prior). I’m completely astounded by how Saranac Kinny’s pharmacy is able to function let alone operate. Save yourself the frustration and go to either Walgreens or Kinny’s in Placid. I write this as I now am waiting an extra hour for a partial prescription. #neveragain

The store portion of this branch is wonderful, staff is friendly and very helpful. The pharmacy however is NOT. they are understaffed right now, just like everyone else, and as a small business owner myself I am understanding of that. What I don't understand is how the managers and lead pharmacists here allow this place to run as it does. They are horribly rude, never answer the phone and on the rare occasion they do, they hang up immediately. They have also begun closing the drive thru while simultaneously not answering phones. They scream out your prescriptions and full name across the entire store with a line backed up to the front. I have never been treated with such disrespect before. You can say hi and ask how they're doing, It won't be reciprocated. They don't use any bit of privacy or discretion. I would switch pharmacies but given our limited options in town, I guess we are stuck. We have been using this pharmacy for 8 years every single month for my son, and they still fight me when I ask for the proper oral syringes to give my child his medicine when they are supposed to be included. They have also charged me for the oral syringes, which again should be included as there is no other way to dose it properly for my child. when your child's dose is .04ml... you can't use anything else except the 1ml ones.
