I’ve been coming here for 4 years every summer to rent canoes. They’re just great. Timely, friendly, easy to talk to. Canoes are always great, and appreciate the delivery immensely.

We did the Tuesday evening paddle with Rich. It was nice calm night and very relaxing paddle. Rich was an amazing host and even sent us some family photos he had taken during our paddle! Definitely would do again!!

Had a great time out on the lake. Nick was very helpful and courteous! Prices for rentals are very reasonable, and would recommend highly for anyone looking for a place to rent a boat from.

Absolutely fantastic experience shopping here. We came in looking to learn more about paddles - Dylan grabbed two arm loads and took us out on the lake in our new boat. We tried them all, went back and got more. He taught my partner how to J-stroke to evaluate his paddle choice. Ended up leaving with 3 lovely paddles, two of them locally made. Great experience, can't recommend this place enough! And they're very dog friendly too. Thanks Dylan & co

In an age where customer service has become a dinosaur and speaking with real people is obsolete it is refreshing and an utter delight to do business with AL&T and the A Team of Dylan and Jason. Their personal touch and immediate resolution of a dilemma we faced post 'Round the Mountain Race last weekend was, to put it lightly, above and beyond. Hats off to Dylan and Jason for being the exception to the rule and delivering customer service way beyond one's reasonable expectations.

I recently bought a swift prospector 14 pack from Adirondack lakes and trails outfitters,
and I was very pleased with the whole process. Jason was amazing to work with, no pressure, great advice, and very helpful. Will definitely be back to order our next boat from them.

this review is way too overdue! we rented the canoe for originally 5 days but due to forecasted weather we called to extend the rental by a day. They were so accommodating and understanding (and luckily had availability for us to extend). Their flexibility really made the next 2 days of the trip so much more enjoyable even though we got our fair share of type 2 fun paddling into the wind for MANY miles. Also, when texts to my mother didn’t go through about extending the trip the staff was fantastic in handling a phone call from a concerned mom. At the beginning of the trip there was a miscommunication about transportation but they quickly hopped in the van to pick us up from the take out and got us fully equipped in a timely manner. This is a trip I look back on quite frequently and am waiting for the day to explore more of the Adirondacks by canoe! thank you for a great experience!

I loved my experience renting a canoe from here for the day, it’s such a hidden gem of the area. The renting process was so easy and even though they weren’t in shop, they left the canoe out with all the instructions/maps needed for the day. Canoeing on Lake Flower is stunning and it was such a joy to get out on the water. Highly recommend and can’t thank them enough, we’ll be back!
