Just wanted to share a shopping experience and recommendation if your looking for Jewelry. I went into Jared near the mall. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a store in my life. I was told there was nothing there to "meet my budget" and that I should think about "buying something else" for my MIL. I was treated like I had no business being in the store and they had no interest in me as soon as they found out I was not there to spend really big bucks. I left. We were going somewhere in St James and happened to see St James Jewelry Store. From the moment I entered I was treated professionally and everyone was friendly. I was shown a bunch of options in my budget and ultimately chose one. All while having a wonderful conversation with the staff. I truly felt like they was happy I was there shopping in there store. It was a warm and inviting experience. They even wrapped the gift I purchased. I would recommend them over any big box Jewelry store any day.

A 90+ year old, disabled friend needed his watch repaired. I took it to Saint James Jewelery shop because it was nearby. I was amazed at the warm greeting I received from the "counter girl". The watch band was broken but I explained that it had sentimental value to my friend and if possible to repair the original band. She took it into the back. Lenny came out 15 minutes later and handed me the watch....fixed. It was clear that Lenny understood that a piece of jewelery is often much more than just a piece of jewelery. Lenny will take a personal interest in you wishes. If you want a jeweler that understands the true value (not just the dollar value) of your treasured piece, then Lenny is the man to see.

Not recommend at all. 2 times a diamond in a ring I had Lenny set for me became loose and popped out. Luckily I was able to find it the first time, not so lucky this second time around. Had this particular ring set in late 2021, now not even a year later I had 2 diamonds come loose and pop out. I am now out of a diamond. Will not be going back here for anything.

Highly recommend. Grace was so sweet when I brought my ring in because I bent the band. They could tell I was upset, so they fixed it much earlier than they had anticipated. It looks just like new :)

I bought a piece of jewelry online and needed a stone taken out and replaced with a different one. They did an amazing job and were able to do it much quicker than I anticipated. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced.

Lenny is an amazing jeweler. After visiting many jewelry shops on Long Island we picked Lenny because he didn't try to upsell us and was honest. At the time we were looking at wedding band options for both myself and my husband. We were looking at both gold two tone for my husband and platinum versus white gold for me. Unlike all the other shops, he didn't immediately say "it's extra "x" for platinum". Gold was at an all time high and he explain that actually it might be about the same.Long story short, he designed both mine and my husband's wedding band perfectly. Amazing craftsmanship and great customer service. Definitely would recommend this.

He perfectly sized my wife's ring about a year ago and shined it, and he didn't try to upsell us a single thing, he was just so generally helpful.The reason I'm writing this though, is because my wife told me tonight how impressed she is that her ring is still so perfectly smooth. She said "A year later and it still shines like the top of the Chrysler building!"Just recommended a friend that got married. Even if you don't live there, it's worth the drive!

I dropped off my engagement ring to be fixed since I knocked a stone out of the setting. I am SO happy with the outcome. Not only was it a fast turn around time but they charged me half of what the big name places wanted to do it for. They also polished and cleaned the ring up better than any of those places have ever done. It looks like a brand new ring. Will be going here from now on for my jewelry needs, I recommend you do the same.

Very nice jewelry shop, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had my rings sized here and a watch battery replaced. I highly recommend this jewelry shop. I will definitely return. Thank you!
