This is our 3rd purchase from Acura of Smithtown. My husband and I both have enjoyed the professional & friendly service of the sales staff and the service department. We are looking forward to purchase a new MDX that my husband will own and deal with Anthony again.
I decided to visit Anthony after he got Jill her RDX. I was so impressed that I bought another RDX from Anthony about 1 week later who was a great help and was friendly and professional. Thanks

I had decided to purchase a new Acura RDX (SUV) from my local dealership, Smithtown Acura, and I took delivery of an "A-Spec Advance" model on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. My entire purchase experience was phenomenal, thanks to the no pressure, very relaxed, and totally pleasant sales atmosphere provided by both the General Sales Manager Greg Vigna and his Assistant Sales Managerg Anthony J. Verderosa. These two gentlemen are true professionals and both of them were highly respectful of my time and my automotive needs and concerns!
If the Acura Brand has the model that is just right for you, and it probably does, then you owe it to yourself and your pocketbook to visit with the outstanding staff of Smithtown Acura and see their extensive selection of fine vehicles!

Service department at this dealership is dishonest and deceptive. Jeffrey Braunreuther the service manager encourages his service advisors to over-charge and fleece unsuspecting customers. He is extremely rude and does not have customer service skills. Acura bayshore is a much better experience for servicing acuras.

Of the product and process is second to none.
He spent the time with us to go over everything to get us set up in the vehicle and go on our way.
I will be back to see him in April for my next Acura!

The sales manager John asked for my credit card after I had already given the down payment and signed all the documents. They called it a DMV fee of $224. I understand that everyone should pay the DMV fee, but it shouldn't be forced on me after I've already signed all the documents. I tried to explain that none of the other dealerships I visited, like Lexus, Honda, Toyota, or Mazda, asked for any extra fees after providing the OTD (out-the-door) price. John just stared at me and repeated, “Cash or card,” I said I would definitely report this place with my credit card receipt. Then, the financial manager Karen came and voided the transaction. She insisted that I should pay the fee, but her attitude was much friendlier than John’s.
When we first arrived at this dealer, we asked John for the monthly payment based on different loan terms. He just wrote a number on a business card and threw it on the desk in front of me. That was rude enough. We wanted to get the car as soon as possible. John said we just needed to make an appointment with the financial manager Karen. However, the next day, Robert called me to say they didn’t have the title on hand and that I needed to wait 5 to 10 business days, which they never mentioned when I gave them the deposit. A week later, I called and was told they were facing a cyberattack. Finally, I waited a month to pick up the car.
This was the worst experience ever at a dealership. If the supervisor sees this complaint and cares about customer experience and reputation, please check the camera footage from 7/11/2024 at around 5 pm. We were sitting at the desk next to the main entrance.
To be honest, I do like Acura’s cars, but I am extremely disappointed with their customer service.
