We’ve been taking our yorkipoo to Susan for years now and she is truly the best In the area! What dog actually gets excited to go to the groomer?! Susan always does such a great job with his cut and is very accommodating with appointments. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a responsible, accommodating, and high quality groomer!

My dog Arthur always looks great after getting groomed at Pet Expressions. It costs me $98 before tip, which I think is very reasonable, especially considering how expensive the area is to own property. He always looks so good that we have people stop and ask us on walks where he gets groomed! It does take a while before you can pick up your dog, but that is no different than any other groomer I have been to.

The salon is filthy and the owner is dishonest. She charges premium prices for grooming and does not use a quality shampoos made for dogs but instead uses only Dawn dish soap! It’s unfortunate that there are people like Susan running businesses like this and hoodwinking people but unfortunately the world is made up of all kinds. I just wish more people knew because helpless animals shouldn’t have to be the ones to sit in dirty cages and bathed with dish soap!

Susan did it again. Looks like she hurt another dog. Took my little shih tzu for a groom and that night eyes were watery. Next day, red and watery. By the next day, discharge from the eyes and then he wasn't even opening his eyes. He was docile and totally out of it. Took him to the vet and was diagnosed with corneal abrasions in both eyes. Without even me offering information, the vet asked if he had recently been groomed. In the vet report it says corneal abrasions due to recent groom. Vet bill $235 for visit, antibiotics, eye drops, and pain meds. And $100 for the groom. Her prices are variable, like other reviews have said. All cash, no receipt, and she makes up the prices as she goes. Susan the owner will not accept responsibility. She was totally dodging my calls for weeks, promising me to call, but never did. After I threatened her with small claims court, she finally said she will pay half the vet bill "out of the goodness of my heart" if we come and get the check from her, and sign papers that we will not take this further. The fact that she is not accepting responsibility for this is what is really upsetting me. She obviously rushes through the groom. The vet said it was either from rough washing of the face with an abrasive cloth, or a chemical was sprayed in his eyes, or possibly from the scissors, b/c she cut way to short near his eyes. Please do not take your pets to Pet Expressions.

The groomer isn't careful, has harmed our dog during "grooming".... would not take your pet to this person. she isn't smart enough to own up to her mistakes. Groomers are not licensed and therefore there is no accountability. Think about that....and go somewhere else.

This is what she did to my poor dog. She shaved all the hair down to the skin between his eyes trying to rush him out. He hasn't been the same since. This is after waiting 5 hours. She over books, and obviously under staffed which is crazy to me since she only takes cash, and keeps jacking up the price. When I called her to complain, she denied any wrong doing. Takes no responsibility. Don't go here if you love your pet.

I had my two labs groomed at Pet expressions. I had to drop them off at 9am and I wasn’t allowed in due to covid. I should have thought twice when the owner didn’t ask me for any of my dogs records, vaccinations, proof of rabies shot. The owner only took cash plus I tipped her for a total of 225$. When I got home my black dog Belle was very itchy and I rinsed her off. My chocolate lab Mochas eye looked a little funky but I didn’t think too much of it. The next day my Chocolate Lab Mocha eye was infected and shut. She was also itchy and was vomiting. Mocha wound up with a serious skin infection, eye infection and worms. When I called the owner she acted sympathetic and said she will check in with me in a few days to see how Mocha was doing. She didn’t check in, so I called after mocha was taken care of to explain to her the vet cost and how sick Mocha was. I told her that things happen, but please do the right thing. I asked her did my grooming money back and 200$ towards my vet bills. She asked me for the copies of the vet bills which I gave her and she agreed to what I asked for. I didn’t receive anything from her and then she told me that she called my vet and I lied about what happened. when I called my vet and questioned them, they said she did call but legally they aren’t allowed to give her any information. I asked her again to settle out of court to do the right thing and she refused. These are pictures of Mochas eye, her skin, and some of the vet bills occurred. I’m not unreasonable. My daughters dog also had to be treated by her vet for worms also just in case they spread to him. I spent about 200$ also In over the counter Medicine. The owner claimed she never had issues there before but that’s not what her Yelp reviews say. I would think twice before sending your pets there, and know if something does happen she will not help out in any way! I just moved to Saint James and this is shocking to me how this business owner handled this situation.

The service was great, very friendly and they took amazing care of my dog. This is the cleanest and happiest he has returned from a grooming visit! I was very impressed and would recommend their services.

This week I had brought my dog here, waited in my car for an hour and then three more hours after that, the lady never called me to tell me when my dog was ready I waited in the car for about four hours. Then when I go to pay the lady tells me the price is $87 for my little poodle. Like she made the price up on the spot. Not only did the lady try to lie by telling me she’s been calling when I had no miss calls but also kept my dog there for a crazy period of time. 0/10 would not recommend
