“All I can say is...WOW! These guys are great. Really nice, professional, accommodating & they do amazing work, to boot! My wife had an "Angry Bird" encounter. Windshield smashed, roof line crushed. Honestly, I didn't know what I didn't know. This was a Very involved repair. New windshield (obviously), New Roof, remove & replace headliner. Remove & re-install seats. Remove & re-install dashboard (extract all glass shards from ventilation). Prime, paint, polish. Cleaned car inside out. I mean like brand new, the day we took dealer delivery! Joe, Danny & crew took care of everything. Soup to nuts. Towed the car in, paid for an uber for my wife to get there after work, arranged for an in-house rental vehicle, worked directly with Insurance company to completion. The best auto body shop experience. EVER. How many people say THAT After what is normally a huge hassle? Seamless. Perfect! Thanks Guys!”
“We rented a compact SUV for a trip to Niagara Falls. Unfortunately the vehicle we rented was not available when we arrived however they upgraded us to a fully loaded Chrysler Pacifica 2023. At first we were apprehensive about the minivan. But in hindsight it was perfect. It was a plug in hybrid that was great on gas, very spacious, lots of tech features including backup camera, Android auto, adaptive cruise control and more! It worked out perfectly for us. When we brought the vehicle back everything was also very smooth and quick. Thanks Enterprise ?”

“Alec at the Islip Airport Location was efficient, personable and very responsive. I had a terrible weekend of canceled flights and Alec showed empathy and went out of his way to be sure I had a successful and positive experience. The manager followed up with me by email to see if I had questions which I did in regards to the toll pass. Alec called me back before I returned the car next day. Finally upon return I successful dropped my car off at the fort myers location. The individuals as well as the manager were quick to return my car and reach out to me within 24 hours about another question.”
“This review is long overdue and more than deserved by Adam. I bought a 2004 Chevy Avalanche from Chrono in 2021. I have to say that it was the best experience I have had buying a vehicle. I bought it sight unseen and had it delivered. Adam was amazing to work with and delivered on all fronts. The vehicle had a wealth of service paperwork and all neatly organized. Adam took videos and pictures galore so I could see what I was getting. If I needed more, he would have provided that too I'm sure. He was extremely communicative and helpful up and beyond the delivery of the vehicle. He provided a warranty well beyond what others provide, especially in my state. I love the truck and Chrono! “Its greatly improved in service and inventory. People don’t realize that this is a small mom and pop shop. This isn’t a major airport. Also people are assuming that car should be readily available all the time when in reality there is a limited supply. I never have had a problem in the last five years of renting from them either picking up or dropping off. I rent for work and, I keep coming here because of the fact that this is the only car rental place that I can drop off my personal car in the parking lot and know that it will be safe.”
“If you’re flying into MacArthur Airport (ISP) and need to rent a car for your stay, consider Avis. Very easy to rent, no shuttle service required, great rates, vehicles are in excellent shape and returns are easy even after hours. Fill out return slip, drop form and keys in box and walk right into the airport.”
“This was my first time renting from Budget. I usually rent from Enterprise but they wanted way too much money to rent a minivan. I saved over $1,000 by renting from Avis. The two women at this location were wonderful. One even provided some recommendations for places to visit during our trip to FL. And the van was brand new. Only 800 miles and very clean. I will definitely return. Thank you!!”

“Im not sure why this place has received so much bad reviews. I found them to be nice and helpful. They are a smaller local shop which adds a bit of character. They had my car i reserved and I was gone in under 15 min.Side note my flight had got canceled at Christmas from Islip, this was the only place that had anything. I didn't catch the guys name that served me but he was under alot of stressed from angry customers with altered travel plan but I think it was just fine.If you read this you might recall me saying you made at least one customer happy, well you did, we are home in Tennessee and safe. Thank you very much.”
“I've been renting from this location every 2-3 months for over 3 years now and Carlos has always gone above and beyond to assist me.Not sure where the nastiness comments are coming from as he always treats me with a friendly, business-like demeanor. It's important to remember this is a "neighborhood" location so inventory can change at a moment's notice.I can't recommend Carlos and this Stony Brook location enough!Bill”
“Good enough for 5 Stars, it's a car rental place/ used sales in the middle of the island near a small market airport and LIRR. I read all the 1 Star reviews so the bar was low. Getting an electric car 1/2 charged was not unexpected and the service was nothing to complain about. I thought the employees who helped me on the check out and return were great. I didn't stay there any longer than I needed to.”
