I had the pleasure of hiring Scott Brown to renovate my parents kitchen. They are senior citizens and had reservations about taking on such a large project. I assured them after our first meeting with Scott that he would be perfect for the job. We went to bare bones on demolition and Scott was there every step of the way to walk and talk them through every choice. These choices were not limited to placement of appliances, etc. but also included much needed advisement on design. That is when I saw him shine. His creativity and suggestions were on spot. His crew was respectful and made sure my parents were inconvenienced as little as possible during construction. His custom finish carpentry is stellar. He was reliable and available at anytime to address their questions and concerns. My parents absolutely love their new space and enjoy family gatherings with joy. He is a consummate professional. His work is perfection!!

I've had several remodeling projects done by Brown and company, from new construction to replacement windows, doors and interior remodeling. Happy to say I am very happy with the work. Owner, Scott Brown is very approachable and is eager to make changes to satisfy any costumers concerns. They are reasonably priced and the work is very professional. I sincerely recommend Brown and Co. for your next project. Thanks again to Scott and the crew.John Davi"What can Brown do for you"?

-Never showed up-Would say he’d be there then ghosted me for days-His crew continually ran out of supplies bc he was MIA-In order to keep the project going, I bought supplies from Home Depot to keep his team working.-Showed up intoxicated-Tried to get me to pay ahead of schedule but I refused bc I would have no leverage in getting him to respond to me or show up-Tried to perform tasks out of order seriously impacting quality bc he didn’t show up with the materials needed to do the job in the right order - only when I was ready to kick him off the job did he get the material needed to do the job right.-Tried to get me to pay for items that were his responsibilityWhen he came for final payment he sternly told me “you are going to give me a good review”. I told him I would not.-Totally unprofessional-Don’t believe a word he saysThis guy is a mess and shouldn’t be working on peoples cherished homes.Service: Home renovations

It does not give me pleasure to write this review. Do not use this contractor. I hired Scott to complete a ground floor renovation of my luxury home. He was routinely absent despite charging me for his time to be there. As a result, items went uncoordinated between trades with little quality control. I supported him with my subcontractors who routinely found his absence to be a detriment to the project. His team was regularly in flux with new and unfamiliar manpower - sometimes legitimate. However, continuity between the teams was minimal. I interviewed several of his prior clients which happened to be from years ago. Non-performance and poor quality control are issues that have surfaced in the last couple of years, I’ve learned. He fell down on the job on a prior project and is now fired from mine. In all instances, please refrain from hiring him and his team. He is a challenge to manage with personal issues including alcoholism manifesting on the project. As someone with knowledge of the business, I found myself acting as a GC to stay on track with my team. Ultimately, his dishonesty and failure to perform could not be overlooked. I regret that I did not fire him earlier. Scott, his men, and all his preferred subcontractors will not work for me or be recommended for any project. They are incompetent at best, dangerous and costly at worst.Issues encountered:Drinking on the job.Material theft.Billing for hours not present. Scott spent most of that time home drinking, his workers communicated. He was only present on Friday when I would work from home.Family visiting my home to show work without owner present.Girlfriend answering home phone without owner present.Scott and his team are not to be hired. You do so at your own risk.Services: Drywall installation

Scott and his very talented team completely transformed our house. Before, the front of our house had ZERO curb appeal. Scott had great ideas, was a pleasure to deal with, and finished the project in under 1 week. What else can you ask for?! Thanks Scott & team!Services: Design

Great job by Scott and his team! Our house finally has curb appeal! They did the siding , redesigned our front overhang (which was originally a nightmare), and cared about getting the details right.

I would like to say thank you to Brown & Company. I used them for a bathroom renovation three years ago, and it came out great. Recently, we had a small glitch which needed their attention, and they took care of it with no hassle and no charge. Highly recommend this reputable company!

Scott added several rooms to my house. The job could not have been better. The lowest price of 3 bids but the job was perfect. I’ve used him for several jobs since and recommended him to others. He’s the best I’ve seen
