About Sag Harbor Gym
Sag Harbor Gym is a spacious fitness center offering nearly 14,000 square feet of well-designed space, featuring a large atrium that creates a light and airy atmosphere. The gym is equipped with high-end weight machines from brands like Precor, Matrix, and Cybex, along with a wide variety of cardio equipment such as treadmills and bikes. It also boasts extensive spin and group fitness programs, including a newly renovated spin studio with 30 state-of-the-art SPINNING bikes. Members can relax after workouts in the sauna, which is considered a highlight, especially with its ability to let users pour water on the rocks. The gym’s location on the docks provides a nice view from the back, adding to the overall experience. While the gym is small compared to its offerings, it has all the necessary equipment, including a dedicated weight room and a stretching area with extra equipment. Despite its quality features, it is often noted for its high cost, with daily passes costing around $50 and weekly passes about $130. Membership prices are generally around $100 per month, though discounts and specials are sometimes available. The gym’s prices are a point of contention, with reviews mentioning that it’s expensive for a place that some consider to have outdated or broken equipment. The AC system struggles in both summer and winter, and some facilities like the men's bathroom and water fountains are not always well-maintained. The staff is generally helpful, but there are negative comments about certain employees, particularly regarding unprofessional behavior involving political symbols worn by staff members. Overall, Sag Harbor Gym is appreciated for its extensive equipment, pleasant environment, and community contribution, but potential members should be aware of its high prices and some maintenance issues.

Visited on a one day pass in mid October 2023. Great gym, lots of equipment. Great sauna!! (They let you pour water on the rocks!). All areas absolutely spotless…men’s room extremely clean! Plenty of parking.

The gym has squat racks, worn out Rogue barbells, some cool plate loaded machines and a place to get filtered water. Wifi was...
