AMAZING!The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. I’ve been taking my Goldendoodle Martin here since he was a puppy & they have consistently been nothing short of excellent. Benjamin the Groomer is an absolute artist & professional - every time Martin has gotten a grooming or a bath I receive endless compliments from family & strangers on the street. If you’re looking for a family owned pet store where the service is impeccable & the results back them up - this is the place for you. Would rank above 5 starts if possible!

I have been taking my little dog Chance there for 8 years. They do an excellent job grooming him, every single time. The staff is really genuinely nice and professional at the same time. I would not take my dog anywhere else. They also have a great shop for all of Chances needs.We are super happy.Thanks Harbor Pets!John and Susan

I called harbor pets yesterday with a grooming emergency. We explained that our dog is the ring bearer for our family wedding this weekend, and told them that she’d accidentally got out in the yard and ran into mud, and a nest of ticks! To our luck, the groomer, Ben, was able to squeeze us in the same day, and they even gave her a quick trim! He was very attentive during the consult, and she came out so cute. We knew that our pet was in good hands when he’d explained to us that they don’t perform anything that our pet is uncomfortable with or doesn’t like. We didn’t mind paying extra since our dog is always in the yard and tangles very quickly! When leaving, we booked appointments for the remainder of summer with the friendly reception! Thank you harbor pets!

Took my dog there once as I like to support local business and seemed like a possible alternative to options much farther away. Despite the mixed reviews, I thought I'd give them a chance. They did an ok job but no better than PetSmart for a much higher price. On top of that, they tacked a charge beyond the agreed price because they said my dog was aggressive. I indicated that this had never been an issue in the maybe 25-30 other times he'd been groomed at various places. After a pointless conversation with an entirely unhelpful and somewhat rude counter clerk, I learned from the groomer that he tried to bite the brush while yanking on knots. I posted a prior negative review, to which they responded by posting my personal information. Kind of borderline doxing. An unprofessional experience followed by an unacceptable privacy violation. I want to support local businesses, but an attitude adjustment to help them immensely.

We have a 1 year old labradoodle who very afraid of the groomers especially the blow dryer. He also has crazy wild doodle hair. We have not been able to find a good groomer out east until now. Benjamin did the most incredible job with Duke and he looks phenomenal. He took his time and even called me to let me know he needed extra time in order to make Duke feel comfortable. We are so happy and grateful. We couldn’t recommend harbor pets more.

I really like it here. I'm new to the area due to relocation from the pandemic. The receptionist/manager is really friendly. She even gave me a free p*** bag roll with my purchase of dog food and a grooming. Thank you!!

Brought our golden here for a grooming and they did a really beautiful job on him. I was worried about his coat since it was very matted and I had read thst with dogs with an undercoat it’s important not to cut too much or it won’t grow back correctly - Will definitely be back .

Had a routine grooming appointment, showed up right on time. Owner (older guy) complains, "why don't you pick up the phone, I called you twice, I almost gave your appointment away." I said, "I have an appointment right now, why would you give it away." He said, "I was going to give it away yesterday, I called twice, you didn't pick up." I said, "What number did you call? Did you call my wife instead?" Turns out he was calling the wrong number - not my number, not my wife's number. However, he then insisted that he was calling my wife. He then told me, in a condescending tone, "Maybe you should tell your wife to return her voicemails." At this point, I said, "First of all, don't talk to me like that. Second of all, should we do this appointment or not. You are being bizarrely hostile." The owner says, "Yes, I'll cut the dog's hair." Then as he comes around to take my dog by the leash, he says, again, "But next time, tell your wife to return her voicemails." At this point, I tell the owner, "We're leaving, you're not cutting my dog's hair. I've had enough." He then proceeds to DRAG MY DOG BY THE LEASH ACROSS THE FLOOR. I tell him to let the dog go. He then PICKS UP MY DOG AFTER I TOLD HIM TO LET HIM GO. I then told him, "HEY! DROP MY DOG RIGHT NOW! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND". The owner then released my dog. I walked out of the store absolutely livid. I was disgusted with the level of hostility displayed by this horrible person, and then the physical abuse to my dog. I will never go to Harbor Pets again, and I would advise you to think twice about giving them your business. Obviously there are a number of poor reviews on Yelp for Harbor Pets, so I'm not the only one.

The groomers here are very friendly and knowledgeable. I love my dogs new haircut. I could trust that they knew what they were doing and I felt very comfortable when I consulted with them. Thank you harbor pets!

This was the worst haircut my golden has ever received. Not only did they completely shave him but it also was not evenly cut.The haircut took longer than expected and instead of calling me to let me know there was a delay, they had me make 3 separate trips to try and pick him up. Each time they said it would be another 30 minutes. Ended up wasting a couple hours trying to go pick up my dog.Lastly, it was $175 for a standard cut.
