Chris prepared an amazing dinner for our Hamptons Retreat at our Airbnb. From start to finish the food was fresh and beautifully prepared. Everything was delicious and Chris was the ultimate professional. He was clean, efficient, friendly, fun and highly skilled in the kitchen. We loved everything! Thank you Chris!

If I could add more more stars I would! I did a lot of research in hiring a chef for my sisters bachelorette party and I'm so happy we chose Chef Chris. He was so responsive when I first submitted the request for his availability and was so easy to communicate with him regarding menu choices and creating options that worked for us and the group we had. The food, OH MY GOD, I can't say enough great things about the creativity, taste and thought put in every dish. We enjoyed everything from start to finish and I would beyond recommend Chris for a next event or gathering or even full time if I lived in the area. The absolute best!!!!

My experience with Chris Hansel, the personal chef, was fantastic. He was highly responsive and clearly dedicated to accommodating the needs of our group (which included a number of food allergies and sensitivities). Our choice not to finalize the event booking was unrelated to his efforts. I enthusiastically suggest considering Chris for your next trip out East. Without a doubt, we will reach out to him again in the future!

Chris was absolutely fantastic - personable, talented, and professional. We booked him for an evening during a bachelorette party weekend and he went above and beyond our expectations. Not only was his cooking delicious, but he happily accommodated a vegetarian and vegan in our group, and cleaned up the whole kitchen afterward. I highly recommend him!

Chef Chris was an amazing addition to my friends' bachelorette party. Even though he doesn't typically service fire Island, he made an exception to help us out and I'm so happy he did. Not only was he incredibly professional but his food was absolutely delicious. He worked closely with us to come up with an awesome menu we knew she'd love and did not disappoint. On top of the food tasting great it was also beautifully presented and everything was fresh and delicious. Couldnt recommend him enough!

We recently hired Chris to cater my wedding luncheon, which was held at our East Hampton home and included a fairly large wedding party. It was a huge success! Chris delivered such a delicious meal, beautifully displayed, and the whole wedding party raved about the food! He is a calm presence, very pleasant and very organized, which was definitely appreciated as our home was a flurry of activity with the wedding party in full preparation mode. Chris arrived nicely prepared, fully in command and added a welcome serenity to the day. His interpretation of my hopes for the luncheon menu were spot on and he delivered a tasty, creative meal that was appreciated by all. I strongly recommend Chris as a caterer, and believe he can deliver a great experience for any type of event!

Finally getting a chance to leave a review for Chef Chris--he catered a small dinner party for us last year for Christmas Eve, and boy did he deliver! Forgot to take pictures after the apps (too much egg nog lol) but these were the starters- pork liver pate, pickled onions, currant mostarda, cranberry relish. His pumpkin soup was so delicious, I had to stop myself halfway through or I wouldn't have had room for the other courses, and though we didn't have any kids or picky eaters on the guest list, he made sure to ask about allergies, dietary restrictions, kosher/Muslim guests, and whether or not we'd need a "kids menu". Chris was very easy to work with (very communicative, punctual, and super efficient with everything from shopping/prepping for the party through clean-up the night of--honestly, two minutes after arriving the night of, he looked more at home cooking in my kitchen than I ever have lol!). His food is outstanding, just the perfect mix of healthy and delicious--at one point, my partner leaned over and whispered "I didn't know zucchini could taste like this..". One really standout thing about chef Chris is that he buys all the produce himself locally from Hamptons farm stands, and bases the menu options over what's in season at the time--he even asked if I had a preference other than Halsey and Green Thumb, his usual go-to's. My cousin just hired him for a dinner party in Manhattan and it hasn't even happened yet and she's already raving about Chef Chris and booked him as temporary full-time private chef for two weeks this summer when she'll be in Amagansett with her husband and kids

Chris is amazing! I hired Chris for a dinner party I had a few weeks ago at my home.. He is so professional & passionate.. He helped me plan the menu from appetizers, dinner to desert. He sourced and shopped for organic ingredients. I would highly recommend Chris.. His mac & cheese is awesome as is everything else he cooked!
