This is still one of the best shops in town. It's been here for over 35 years and has changed and grown with the town but still maintained the "Shell Shop" feel everyone knows and loves. Debbielou puts so much of herself into everything about the store and you can feel it.

Always loved this store until they denied my entrance today for not having a mask and they didn’t offer one either it was like I was a dirty bug and they shoed me out of there. Little did you know I’m actually fully vaccinated and I will never shop here ever again just bc the way they both acted.

What a wide array of beautiful items from shells, to jewelry, to artwork, books and clothing. The staff was incredibly knowlegable and helpful. This little store boasts so many items that I had to take my time before settling on couple of unique and hard to find items. I definitely reccommend popping into this store because it is a great place to purchase a one of a kind gift, trinket for someone or just for yourself. I do intend to return when I'm back east.

Very cute store with some great things. However, the woman who was working was very rude, did not ask me if I needed help, and didn't look up from her phone the whole time I was in the store. I wanted to buy so many things, but decided to walk out because of lack of customer service.

I worked at this store for Debbie back in the late 80's Its still the most unique electic store in Sag harbor, so quaint with pieces you just cannot live without Dont miss it

One of Sag Harbor’s hidden treasures, which happens to be stocked with hidden treasures! Knowledgeable, kind, and low-pressure, the store associates are always helpful and ask just the right questions to help find what you are looking for. I’ve bought plenty of gifts there, and my friends have loved them. I highly recommend Blooming Shells.

The most delightful place! My friend Kate took us here. They have a beautiful variety of crystals and mystical merchandise. This is a place you could spend all day! A must go to spot when visiting Sag Harbor!

The only place I buy crystals from. The owner is so nice and will tell you what the crystals mean from the "crystal bible" book as you purchase. It's such a cute store, my favorite in the whole town.

It makes me so happy that this store is still around--I have always loved their quirky jewelry, selection of sea shells, and spiritual-type items, such as incense. I am kind of amazed that Blooming Shells has weathered so many years of fickle customers and high rents, but I have only happy memories of coming there in my youth and look forward to my next visit.
