I love Mona and Bloom but she's moved to 25 Madison Street.

Went to return a $1500 rug for a client who had already attempted a return 3 other times but always found the shop closed during "traditional business hours." After calling 2 times myself I FINALLY caught her open for business. She told me that she doesn't take returns after 3 months, yet could show me no policy reflecting that. She was curt and rude. Classic snobbery. "I've run this shop for 17 years" - who cares! Hope this is your last.

Mona, the owner, has incredible style. There is not a lot of product but everything that's there is impeccable and insanely chic. And Mona's partner is a landscape designer who has done a beautiful job on the garden. I very inspirational store and a must visit destination for interior designers and design lovers.

Today I had one of the worst shopping experiences ever. The shop owner, Mona, was incredibly arragant. She started helping me make some choices until another customer interrupted us and then proceeds to leave me waiting for almost 30 minutes to check out my selections. I remained calm although I was tempted to leave. I explained to her that I had a very poor shopping experience as a result. She gave me a riduculous response suggesting that this was Sag Harbor??? Funny, I shopped and dined at other establishments today that were friendly and warm. SHE does not represent Sag Harbor's charm and grace. Karma, Mona Nurenberg,...Karma.

It's the best antique shop I have ever seen. Everything there is totally exquisite, from the breathtaking minimalist pieces of furniture from Europe to the tablewares, dishes, glasses, linen, all displayed with a keen, marvelous sense of aesthetics. I actually go to Sag Harbor just to have the pleasure of visiting the store as well as the little one at the back of the garden. If there is something that I will miss on Long Island when I leave it, it's definitely Bloom!
