The groomers are fantastic, however the lady in the front not sure why she’s there. Disgusting attitude always complaining about one thing or the next and as a customer I believe the snarky comments are completely unacceptable. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Went to go get my pup a Halloween treat but wanted to see if they had any without peanut butter - employee was very friendly but was new and wasn’t entirely sure - sadly owner couldn’t be bothered to come out and clarify

Penelope is a wonderful dog groomer and so knowledgeable about all things dogs. She is such an important part of taking care of our pet and knows just what to do to keep our little Maltese beautiful, happy and healthy. Thank you so much!

This is in response to the Owner's comment to my mom's (Michelle) recent review below.
It is very frustrating that the owner still is not taking accountability for the situation and continuing to make excuses while trying to discredit our experience there. I was with my mom and can confirm the situation was exactly as she described and not taken out of context. We understand if there was pee on the floor the urgency to clean it up & appreciate the safety and cleaning precautions but that does not warrant aggressive screaming (not shouting) that we could hear crystal clear from the front of the store. The screaming was so aggressive it frightened us. If the blowers were so loud, why could we still hear everything the groomer was screaming perfectly? At the time we did not know the receptionist was the owner, which makes the fact that she was so dismissive towards us and did not get off her chair to take any action in the moment even worse. As the owner; stop making excuses and trying to downplay the whole situation.

Adorable shop and very kind understanding staff! We just moved here and they went out of their way to help my elderly dog adjust to a new grooming environment. Special thanks to Alanis for turning my grumpy scruff muffin into a studly beast ?

Very rude owner. Answers with an attitude when asked questions. She should just hire someone to stay at the front desk and run the business, it would be way more successful.

When we were searching for a groomer for our now 22 pound Golden Doodle, we stumbled across this place while shopping in Rye. We spoke with the owner and told her we had a puppy, this was over a year ago. She said we could bring her in for a new puppy introduction to grooming, which was really just a bath and they did a light trim, everything was fine and we were satisfied. We continued to take our puppy there and were told that she was a difficult dog to deal with and the owner charged us an extra $50 on top of the normal $75 because she was supposedly difficult. We continued to bring her there because we felt they did a good job and was no longer "difficult". The last time I brought her there, she said that her groomer a quite, but she had a new groomer that was very well qualified and we'd be happy with her cut. When I picked her up and was told that she was matted, which she wasn't because I'm always brushing her and she was difficult, and proceeded to charge me $175! The bottom line was the new groomer did a terrible job, probably had no experience and within 2,weeks she already looked like she needed to be done again! So the bottom line is I would actually give this place zero stars! The owner is extremely rude, and there prices are all over the place! We now are going to Paws on Fifth in Pelham and are extremely satisfied

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m absolutely disgusted and disappointed at the experience I had today. I was dropping my dog off, who has gone here multiple times before, and heard one of the groomers aggressively screaming at a dog for peeing on the floor. These screams could be heard from where I was standing at the front door! Screaming, cursing and who knows what else should never be directed towards another person’s pet. Especially when the owner is paying you for a service and trusting their dog in your care. The receptionist tried to shrug me off and say the groomer was yelling at the pee and not the dog as if I didn’t hear everything myself. So unprofessional and disrespectful on their part. I turned around and didn’t even leave my dog with them, and I will never go back again. A truly disturbing experience.
