The walking trails at the Rye Nature Center are short, rather flat, and just beautiful. It's a great way to spend an hour or two. There's a covered, out of doors, picnic area. There's an amazing team of knowledgeable employees who care for the grounds.Very kid friendly.Ample parking.

Staff is professional, and the trails are beautiful. Lots of good memories from when I participated in the youth camps here. I wonder what's going on with that exit onto Theodore Fremd by the way? How come it's still closed?

I do not want to be mean as it looks like a wonderful place in the pictures and description. We tried 2 different ways to get in , and failed. Where is the entrance? Do we go through the Playland Parking Lot?I am at a loss. I LOVE nature preserves and have been to numerous ones. Sad i couldnt go to this one.

Mrs Kimberly Louis is wonderful! She helped me get my first profit . She made the entire process smooth and I felt completely supported after investing the minimum of $1000 she made over $10,500 for me in a week . I highly recommend her to anyone who’s planning on joining the crypto currency market . Contact her Email:

Beautiful park to stop at driving from NYC to Providence, RI! Wish they allowed dogs here. Nice walking trails, would be really nice for kids too, as they have lots of places for kids to play.

Great place to explore nature. Small play area for the kids, but it's really about exploring the trails and taking in nature's beauty.

Toddler friendly. Easy trails, lots of wild animals about. We seen deer, squirrels and rabbits which my toddler loved. Also has a small toddler park area.

Rye Nature center is a haven for children of all ages to explore the wonder of nature that seems to be taking a back seat these days to technology and our busy lives. It’s a magical place to unlock your imagination and put aside what needs to be done. Take a deep breath and say” life is good!” Thank you Rye Nature Center.

Lots of fun for the kids. Terrain is natural and can be treacherous so be mindful of the slopes and rocks around and enjoy the raw beauty in the woods. Have hiking shoes and good judgement on the rocks please be safe. My kid loves it and he is adventurous.

This place is so cool! They have tons of educationally programs and as you can imagine, do an excellent job furthering and educating people about the importance of sustainability. In fact, they even have an all outdoor nature based, educational preschool!

The place is a really breathtaking experience with lots of sites and animals to see (from a far of course). The nature there is unique, despite the fact it's all contained within a small area. I went here as part of their summer camp program. There was lots of fun activities and at tge same time interesting facts. Really good place if you want to get outdoors.

A good place to get in touch with nature and take the kids for a quick hike. They lack garbage bins tho, and it seems a little abandoned. Other than that, good.

Nature walk for toddlers and young kids. The walk is pretty easy to do. The trails are not suitable for strollers.
