I've been to the Rye P&P location a few times, and the store is absolutely beautiful! I went in again this morning, and just have to mention how friendly and helpful the women who work at the store are. Great fashion sense / style. Overall, wonderful experience! PS. The end of season sale going on right now is amazing.

The owner went above and beyond to help me quickly buy an outfit for a wake that I was running late for. She helped me even though she was dealing with severe flooding in her basement due to a storm. I left wearing a chic and comfortable outfit at a reasonable price. THANk YOU Palmer & Purchase!

Such a nice experience, my young daughter is interested to have her own boutique someday so I took her in to look around. The woman there was so nice; gave her a tour and some stickers tied up in a bow. It was nice to see such attentive service, it was a meaningful experience. Thank you.

Overpriced: high price points seem more resultant of a bougie vibe the store emits rather than the quality of products- no products made locally, in the USA, or are fair trade, etc.Bad service: The store has a very inflexible return policy and uses the excuse of being a small business to legitimize poor customer service. I wanted to return an item in new condition with tags within a few weeks of purchase that could easily be resold because it was still being sold on the floor. The sales staff blamed the owner, said they would get in trouble if they helped me, apologized for how unfortunate it is, etc. I love supporting small businesses and would recommend going elsewhere.

My wife hoped to exchange an item gifted over the holidays only to find an extraordinarily stringent two week return/exchange window from the date of purchase (not even two weeks since Christmas). Sales staff were unwavering and claimed that they were instructed by the store’s owner not to accept any returns or exchanges.The pandemic has meant most stores we have shopped at to be more accommodating— we were therefore surprised and deeply disappointed to find a policy and enforcement that ignores the various challenges of visiting brick & mortar establishments during these challenging times.Nonetheless, after substantial frustration and time, the staff begrudgingly did her “a favor” by exchanging the exact pants for a bigger size since it was in stock as long as she didn’t look around the store. The effort and anxiety it took simply to obtain a new size of an item means that we cannot justify spending money here in the future. I therefore recommend caution to future shoppers.
