Every single time I've been in here, the sales women have been super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond with their customer service, offering samples of products and making helpful suggestions. Great selection of products, always clean and organized store. Highly recommend.

Finally, a Bluemercury location that makes the shopping experience pleasurable! I can almost roll out of bed and be at the Greenwich Bluemercury location. Then there's Bluemercury in Darien, near other places we frequent, so that's an option. While a bit of a hike, we also have New Canaan. But no! None of these locations are worth a visit. I explain why below. Finally, I found a Bluemercury store to love! The Rye location is a bit of a trek and not an area I usually go to, although there are many cute shops. It's worth the drive. The Manager, Donna, knows what she's doing. The layout of the store looks like it was touched by the expert hands of a Feng Shui expert. The dream-team she assembled and/or manages strikes the perfect balance between assisting but leaving me alone to explore. Donna is delightful and super helpful. I think the Darien, Greenwich and New Canaan need Donna desperately. For now, I'll just drive to Rye. Greenwich is crowded, and since Tiana left years ago, it has never been the same. It's the usual, "let me know if you need any help." Then they hover over you as you walk around and try products on. Ugh! I prefer Sephora up the block where they leave you alone. Guess where I spend more money too? Greenwich Bluemercury carries a few brands that I love, but I'm in and out as fast as possible. Frankly, if not for a generous friend who gives me gift cards, I'd never bother to stop in. At least the new Manager is better than the former who was rude and snarky. Darien is a bit better, but not by much. There is a young guy who works there and is super sweet and helpful. You get more of that overcrowded set-up with workers who follow you around and repeatedly offer help. New Canaan is uppity and rude, with no reason to be. You get a literal stare down when you shop. I won't ever step foot in that store again. Is the UK main office aware of this? Is it the same poor experience in the UK? It's possible that people don't care so much about the things I think are important, like customer service.

I was in the Rye NY store last Friday & was pleased with my experience.Kim was my associate, performing professional customer service, suggesting various options, for my needs. Very satisfied with my choices& Kim's expertise. Thank you, Kim. I will be back!

I am not particularly a public poster especially if it's negative. I wandered in to look for a brow pencil. The first woman who was seated looking at her phone jumped up said nothing and continued to look down at her phone. The other three sales people were standing around the register talking and did not say anything to greet me or offer help. They all ignored me. Keep in mind there was no one in the store. I continued to walk around waiting for someone to say something so after several minutes I walked out. Never going back. Too much competition especially living here for past 25 years! I walked out in shock kind of bizarre.

I thought maybe it was just the location I went to before this one (Roslyn,NY) where I received abysmal customer service. In short, I believe in second chances. I was in Rye visiting family and went to this location. The service was literally worse... I didn't know that was possible. I'm not sure if Bluemercury is a culturally bad environment or if the employees aren't paid well, but the horrendous service is shocking, especially in an era where online shopping is driving many places out of business. I'm glad Neiman and Nordstrom sell the brands I can get here and will have my information removed from the customer database.

Excellent store. Can't remember the manager's name but wish I could to give a shout out to . Really knowledgeable staff akin to shopping in Manhattan boutique in terms of customer service and product knowledge.

Love this store. I've been here a couple times and both guys were very helpful. Definitely will be making this a regular stop for any future running needs.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The sales people literally ran away from me and did not want to assist me. I was going to buy something but ran out to Benefit Cosmetics across the street! What a relief. Will never step foot in here again!!

Very impressed with the La Mer options available. Was able to grab a foundation. Everyone was helpful even though we stumbled in on a rainy Sunday. Definitely will be visiting again when we have more time in Rye and hopefully on a sunnier day when I can come in and get a service too!

The adult version of a candy store. They have every skin care as well as makeup product you could want. All staff members are very friendly and attentive. You can walk in the store in your sweats and still be treated like a celebrity. As for their spa services, I had a facial with Lauren and it was the best experience I've had in a salon/spa. She was the absolute BEST, she is amazing at what she does and can hold a conversation which is important to me, as someone who suffers from anxiety, when I'm laying down with my face covered for an hour it's important. I've received so many compliments on my skin and I've recommended Lauren to everyone who has asked. It's been almost a week and my skin is still glowing. I would give Bluemercury 10 stars if I could. So happy I stumbled across this place!

I love Blue Mercury but this location was absolutely horrible. My husband and I walk in and the two staff members looked at us, ignored us, then went back to being on their phones. I know my husband and I don't look like people who shop in expensive high end stores frequently but a simple "hello" would've been suffice. So we continue shopping and I needed help but the two workers looked so into their phones I didn't want to bother them. It wasn't until two women (who look like they belong in that type of store) walked into the store and they finally put their phones down and attended to their every need. I felt that because we didn't look a certain way they thought they were too good for us. Although I loved Blue Mercury before this incident, I haven't been back due to the HORRIBLE service.

I found what I was looking for here, but the salespeople might want to cool it with the overly aggressive sales pitches for additional products and/or services. I was thinking they probably work on commission but I recall going to a different location where I was completely ignored, so who knows!
