This is the only store around for miles and is good for a minimum shopping trip. It's for convenience only. I live 2 hours away and am in Russell every weekend. The prices are as expected for a convenience store, but the price of gas is 30 cents higher. The store is clean and the employees are awesome , but the sticker shock of the prices never ceases to amaze me. The subs and pizza are great items to eat. They are freshly made to order. This is a very busy store for such a tiny town, and will use it always instead of driving 20 minutes for a loaf of bread or milk. Kudos to the employees there. They can be right out straight, but always very efficient and nice. Typical small town gas station and convenience store, but the enormously high prices compared to other places like it in the state are extremely high. All stores are trying to stay in business, yet there's a limit on how much more you should or could charge.

Last time I was here (around April?) I felt rushed. The lady at the counter was rude as heck the whole time. No need to yell lady it's a tiny store I CAN HEAR YOU! I watch my calories so I take my time to figure out what I want. Like leave me alone. Can't take my time with a Karen there. So I avoid this place like corona now, only way more than 6ft. Don't think I'll go back for some time. Man I thought the place was empty because of the virus. Seeing I'm not the only one it's just her attitude driving people away. Kunoco gas sucks so don't bother with that either if you can help it.

Very pricey. Sub sandwiches are average. Not really enough meat on them. Have had several in the past from here and more than once an ingredient was forgotten.

If I could give half a star I would Debbie is the rudest person u have ever met she treats people based on how they look or how well she knows them. She needs to take a long look in the mirror cause she is no better than anybody else. I will drive to canton or hermon before going there again and I am 1 minute away from there.

Don't be a McDonald's of convenience stores. I brought in my own mug and bc it's 24 oz bigger than they sell they've been giving me a hard time about it bc they're losing 8 oz of coffee that would most likely be wasted anyways when I'm already paying over $2 plus a snack to go with it usually. Especially in a small town you can't nickel and dime people and expect people to stay loyal to you vs going to canton instead. I'm saving you more by not using your cups as they cost more than that small amount of coffee that I get over your very limited 12 and 16oz cups. With the bridge closing you're gonna be hurting and even if I'm on that side of the bridge I won't be buying coffee or anything besides gas if absolutely needed which is basically no profit margin. My aunt has worked at the canton one for years don't piss off your local customers please and thanks. She knows how to please maybe you should ask for her advice. I will give you one last chance to be friendly and courteous if not then ill just go to stewarts from now on even though I'd rather most of the money stay local.

It is sad when People drive hours to visit friends and get RUDE SHITTY service from the only damn store in the town! Never had any real trouble until l had a friend come visit me, who had drove over 6 hours to get here just to be talked to with seriously rude attitude because simple direct instructions to make a sub could not be listened to or followed, either way they just did not give a damn. If you do not have customers you don't get a paycheck, maybe a bit of politeness would go a long ways if the employees listened and were not so damn rude to people that they don't recognize!

Asked for a breakfast pizza half without meat for my girlfriend. Basically told me that wasn't going to happen....how hard is it to make a pizza and not put meat on half.....so dissapointed as a former employee I know that it could've been made. In my opinion avoid kunoco food marts all they do is price gouge and provide terrible service.
