I went in last week because my cat ate a crucial wire used for fiber optic.. A very nice gentleman named David took care of my problem..Went in the back and looked for this specific wire..He could have told me to call optimum and make an appt or simply , they did not have it..But he did not..He took his time and looked for it..and by the Grace of God...He found one..Thank you David..I went in this morning with some french pastries for David and all the wonderdul people working there to give my thanks..Thank you all for always being so polite..I would like the supervisors or managers Juan Rivas and Marcus Mullings to acknowledge these great workers..They are a true asset to optimum

I am a T-Mobile customer, I moved 2 lines to Optimum. Whatever I was promised was not delivered, lots of promises, offers, incentives that never happened.Service is not as great.We were travelling abroad and was a nightmare.I am considering moving back to T-Mobile

Poor service. There were 4 reps sitting idle and no one in line except me. Made me wait 5 minutes for absolutely no reason at all. Cavalier and indifferent attitude. Went for a cable modem exchange because their sucky modem suddenly stopped working. The guy who finally assisted me was more interested in selling me more unnecessary services than actual speedy service. Kept looking at his screen for minutes on end in dead silence while I stood there twiddling my thumbs. The service reps kept on a steady banter amongst themselves while serving customers. Very unprofessional. Had to spend 15 min on a simple exchange that should have taken 1 min. Not impressed...

I am canceling and going to Verizon, Id rather go back to rabbit ear antenna TV than deal with optimum customer service. Billing is horrible, Service is horrible and the lies of these oversea's customer service people is out right disrespectful. Anything to outsource and save a buck and greatly reduce customer communication and respect. Optimum is about as bad as it gets !

Save yourself!! If I could leave -5 stars I would. Trying to get any customer service is a joke, there's dozens of departments and all they are able to help with is transferring you around.My name was entered incorrectly, I was told I had to take the max speed but really didnt, the first tech came to install but couldn't find the fiber cable connection that was sitting next to the TV, the next tech came a few days later and told me I needed to pay them $100 before he could do the install, then I was on the phone for 2 hours trying to figure out what happened to my first payment.. now 2 months later they are texting me saying my autopay account is past due. I called to figure it out, they don't have my payment info on file, they can't send me my statement, and they currently can't take payment because their system is down.THEIR SYSTEM WAS NEVER UP. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY AND IT IS NOT WORTH THE HOURS YOU WILL SPEND FIGHTING WITH THESE JOKESTERS.Please, save yourself , don't use this company for any service.

My in laws needed something with their cable box and optimum sent 2 gentleman that seemed very respectable and polite. However, when they claimed to finish the job I was appalled with our they left the cable boxes. My mother in law walked into her her living room and the cable box was just left hanging off the wall! It surely was NOT like that when they arrived. I am truly at loss for words on how they left their so called “completed job” we are so done with this company

This is not my first time having issues with Optimum.When I moved I was forced to use them again bc there was no other service provider available. Fast forward a couple months Verizon Fios came into town and needless to say I switched over.I failed on my end to cancel in a timely manner so of course the company strong armed me to pay for an amount of time I wasn’t even using their service bc of “company policy”Optimum “company policies” are complete and utter trash. I recommend anyone thinking about using them, not to. Why? Inevitably, like with any other service provider, an issue will arise and you will have to deal with the customer service department. When this happens, you will see how irritating it is to deal with a service department that isn’t interested in helping, but rather, just collecting money. Furthermore, when personnel all have the same “I’m sorry it’s company policy” default response, you will want to pull your hair out and wish you weren’t dealing with them.Listen the service is okay, it’s nothing special it will get the job done, but their customer service department has always left much room for improvement.

DO NOT TRUST the salespeople in the Roslyn store. Horrible, sleazy, dishonest.Came in for an additional cable box and they upsold me 4 apple tv boxes.Didn't bother to tell me how difficult it was to set up.I gave up after two hours, brought back the very next day and they refused to take the open box back, even though I couldn't set it up.I left and called optimum and they couldn't understand why they wouldn't take it back. They said the store people were lying.Optimum sent me a FedEx return label and gave me a full refund as well as credits for my troubles, to make things right. The.While I was at the store, I noticed that the store people tried to upsell everyone who walked in. Even an 80 year old women who came to pay her bill, they tried to switch her to optimum phone service to save $5 a month. The women kept telling them she was happy with AT&T but they kept pressing her to switch. They were relentless. Women finally left angry and frustrated.The Roslyn store people are deceitful, dishonest and try to sell you what you don't want or need.It obvious they work on a large commission structure and are instructed to pressure and upsell everyone.Walk in to pay your bill, walk out with something you don't need.Horrible store, sleazy sales people, a very bad look for optimum as a company.I'll never go back, I'll switch to Verizon before ever going there again.Don't trust them. Sleazy and deceitful.Optimum did there best to make it right but next time I switch to Verizon. I don't like dealing with people like this.

Absolutely Terrible.I signed up my Father In Law for Optimum’s 300mbps internet plan which they offered for $35 over the phone which was cheaper than advertised. The biggest mistake I made was, at the very end I mentioned I wanted to try their TV package and they added this along as well for an additional price ($30 if i remember). If i’m being blunt, The TV package was trash, so I tried to remove it and they said it would be $120 a month for just their base internet. I should’ve just kept the $35/month standalone offer but the next time I called, they try to play it as if I only got it because of my bundle.Customer Service gave terrible attitude when my Father In Law tried calling in asking about it. Avoid at all costs.
