As an Iranian residing in Brooklyn, I've discovered that this store offers a comprehensive selection of Persian groceries at excellent prices. While I've explored other supermarkets, this one certainly stands out as one of the best.

Awful people and policies. I parked my car here at 8:30pm on a Tues night for just a minute. I was going to the Persian Grille for dinner and went inside the restaurant for 30 seconds to find out WHERE I COULD PARK LEGALLY to dine at Persian Grill. I know I can't park in the International Foods lot. I saw the sign and went to ask for legal locations. Came out 30 seconds later and I was booted. $353 later...I moved my car 20ft. AND THEY DAMAGED MY TIRE RIM! (pictures attached)What if I was planning to go INTO International Foods and have dinner and wanted to move my car before I settled in? The boot was on before I even had time to come outside again. That's poaching. I came out and he was still taking pictures and doing the booting job, didn't stop etc. The owner of International Foods was watching the whole time (I realized the next day because someone posted his picture for me to talk to him...that was the guy watching the whole thing.). I hope he knows I will NEVER go there and will NEVER recommend him either. I am local and so are my friends. Too bad. Jerry's Towing says: "I have to make a living" and International Foods just says "the owner isn't here. He's on vacation." or "He will be in tomorrow" or "He will be in at 8:30." BUT HE'S NEVER THERE!My car is 5 months old and less than 3000 miles, barely driven! No other scratches on any rims but the one they touched. So awful.

They work with scammers to get your car towed: We parked our in the garage in front of the international meat market, in the same parking lot, only for the Ravagh waiter to tell us that our car was being towed during the middle of dinner. My husband runs outside and sees his car being booted by some scum bags, who states they were notified to tow the cars. By who, we do not know. The towing company then requested $350 CASH to have each car released. Mind you, we were 1 out 5 cars and some cars even got towed. So this "towing company" definitely made a profit this night and God knows how often they do this shit because my husband did not have cash money in his pocket and they directed us to the gas station across the street that has an ATM. Then after we got the car back, the towing company tells us there is parking on the other side of the restaurant. Our dinner was ruined, needless to say. Ravagh should prioritize their customers and make an effort to make a BIGGER sign not to park there or close off the area. In addition, they should notify their customers BEFOREHAND, not when the car is already booted. Seems like a scheme to me.

This place is a joke but need to give it a 5 star for reasons that are beyond my capacity right now.

Parked there around closing time to go to Ravagh next door. Bunch of animals towed my car I found out from inside information hired by the International Food Market owner. What a low life thing to do, try to extort innocent people for money and greed. Never going back to this smelly place.

Love this little shop. The guy who does the checkout is great, always helpful, really nice. I don't know a lot about Persian food and I don't buy their meat that much but their selection of dried and fresh produce and spices are always spot on. The store always has exactly what I need.

I just called to ask if they sell Matzo in a single box and the person who answered said "yes". I then said, "Oh great! Can you do me a favor?" and the guy interrupted and said "No! You come in and look for yourself- bye-bye!" and hung up on me. I was only going to ask if I could give him my credit card number to pay in advance over the phone and have someone take two steps to the door to hand it to me in the doorway when I get there. I have two very medically vulnerable elderly parents I take care of and am not exposing myself indoors at this time because of Covid, that is why I was going to ask but he didn't even wait to hear what I had to say, I literally got hung up on. I guess Holiday Farms it is from now on!

This used to be a great place to shop for Persian products. Unfortunately each year it seems to go more and more downhill. The store is dirty & messy and even the outside space is unkempt with random handwritten paper signs on the door and a parking lot composed of potholes and asphalt bumps. Clearly the owner is no longer paying attention or cares to ensure a clean and pleasant environment and experience for the customers as they are one of very few Persian markets in the area. On a recent visit, one of the aisles was almost completely blocked with boxes of goods - one had to sidestep and squeeze through, which makes it inaccessible for anyone with a physical impediment. For the last several weeks one of the handwritten signs on the door has said 'credit card machine not working today!' Obviously they only want to take cash otherwise the matter would have been fixed right away. This is most inconvenient for customers as most people don't carry large amounts of cash these days. It's a shame what has happened to this store. With so much available online these days, I will save myself the headache and unpleasant experience and stop shopping here. The owner should pay a visit to the Persian stores in DC or LA to get an understanding of what a market should look like.
