This place is great. We stayed in town for 4 days and came here 4 times if that says anything. It was a delightful breakfast each time. The food was great and you couldn’t beat the price. They sell a lot of produce and other food items as well, which some can be quite pricey, but they are high quality. We bought some cheese and it was absolutely amazing. There is a really cute thrift store in the back. Just a few clothing items but fun to look at while you’re waiting on your food.Very dog friendly. They let us bring them inside and we loved that. I get it’s not some peoples vibe but eh, you’ll get over it. It’s great - keep loving dogs.Highly recommend and don’t neglect all of their cheeses!!Vegetarian options: Plenty of meatless optionsParking: Parking is behind the building

Trevor helped me plan the food my 70th birthday family reunion and made sure it all went off without a hitch. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful above--and went the extra miles, literally, driving my birthday cake to my house when we forgot to pick it up. My family feasted happily for two nights and several lunches. Thanks to everyone at Big Cheese.

Looong overdue review, but needless to say our lil vegan tummy was very happy. Super fresh and our panini was so delicious! We ended up buying some bread and other goodies before heading back into the city. Definitely worth the trip.

While I can't exactly speak honestly about the food at The Big Cheese (we bought a bag of Tate's chocolate chip cookies which are always excellent), the "cappuccino" was not drinkable. When we ordered she made a weird face. When I asked if they could make it (it's on the menu) she said they didn't have the right pods, but she had used cold brew and others seemed to like it. We said "okay." Then she asked if we wanted regular milk. We said "sure." The machine fired up and sounded like it would be great. She handed us the cups and said "we're having a problem with the frother." $17 later, we left with our hot coffee and bag of Tate's. Bottom line: Do not get your coffee here! Not sure what kind of milk that was, but cappuccino was the color of dark mud. If we hadn't already been in our car we would have given it back. The place was chaotic with some standing in line to pay for clothing while others were waiting on food. ??? On another note, The Burger Bar down the road was overall perfection!

Things were a little slow-going when I first arrived because there were only two woman working the kitchen and the till. That being said, it was well worth the wait. Yes, the price point is astronomical, I can't deny that, but the flavorful food and the charming staff justify the price. I absolutely will be a repeat customer when I'm in the area again!

Quaint place. Food was good but took a half hour for an egg sandwich. Cook was new and not good. Bad food safety habits. She was eating while cooking our food. Witnessed her drop food on the floor and use. Grabbed salad with bare hands that she was eating with.Woman taking our orders with pony tail was very friendly and if it wasn't for her we would have left. She was pleasant and accommodating. The other woman kept arguing with her in front of customers. Very rude.Shop had produce, processed foods, coffee, cheeses. Also sold clothes in the back. Very disorganized place. No focus. It has tables inside and outside. They allowed pets inside, again unsanitary for food establishment.Parking: If you get there early there's parking. If not there's a lot down a bit.

This is the small town bright spot, kind patrons and staff, food with a really nice edge. Can’t stop thinking about the Ruben.

Cute place in a great town. We walked in, ordered food and paid $40 for it. 15 other people ordered after us. We waited 50 minutes for the food to arrive. The person at the front desk forgot about our order and others before us. Food was being served out of order it seems. Orders were disorganized and not first come first served. Instead of helping the kitchen the front desk kept taking orders. BIG NONO!At the 50 minutes mark the front desk person started helping prepping the food without gloves. We could see it clearly. At that point we left. Bad service waiting 50 minutes and bad hygiene. Wouldn't recommend. I feel sorry for the food prepping staff. Front desk should have done better order management.

Unique place. It feels inviting and comfortable. The staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating.Yuval, the owner, makes a spanikopita like I've never tasted. Request for it to be warmed up and take your time to slow down and enjoy it.I also asked for a basic egg and cheese. It came on the most delicious bread with a wonderful little side salad. I like that greens are served with the items. There is an interesting clothing/consignment section in the back of the store. Meander through to find little gems.I truly enjoyed my experience and will be returning.

I love The Big Cheese, but at the same time, only at The Big Cheese will you find an avocado that looks and feels perfect, but when you get it home it's simultaneously hard and rotting on the inside. I know, it doesn't make sense, avocado-wise, but to the locals around here, it might make perfect sense.

The pide bread here is out of control. The salmon was clean and perfectly cooked and the lentils were just right and covered in a subtle tahini sauce. Quick deli prep also makes it a strategic baby screaming in the car choice.
