I booked at the Yarra while on a solo motorcycle trip. I was planning on camping but a tropical storm had rolled through. The Yarra was perfect, warm showers, extremely comfortable bed and the steak that I had for dinner was a 10/10. I’ve already planned a trip back here with my wife so she can see how great it is.

Stayed one night at the Yarra in the White Room with my husband and 1 year old toddler. I'm giving the Yarra 5 stars because in general, it is hard to find a hotel that has accommodations for young children in the Roscoe/Livingston Manor region, but the Yarra fit the bill.
The Yarra is a beautiful inn and had everything we needed for a short stay. A big and comfortable king size bed that we could all fit in, blackout curtains, and a private bathroom in a clean space. You might hear other tenants walking across the hall but overall, the noise level was very good and not disruptive. They also provided shelf stable milk (whole milk and a non-dairy option) for my toddler to drink. The check-in and check-out process is super easy and straightforward.
The continental breakfast was also great. I initially wasn't sure if there would be enough to eat since there was no hot food, but they provided simple but delicious pastries, vanilla yogurt with granola and jam, milk, orange juice, coffee, fresh fruit and the most delicious salted butter (random, I know). All of it was high quality and I was a happy mom with the options. You can also toast your pastry or bread.
I would definitely re-book this room for my family.

Rooms: Spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Food and drinks: Boutique restaurant with homemade menu items and perfect choices of entrees. Great wine and beer, mixed drinks. Service is personal and friendly

My fiancée and I stayed at The Yarra and have only the best things to say about our experience. The Yarra is incredibly clean and comfortable, the complimentary breakfast there is delicious and plentiful, and Sonya’s responsiveness is second to none (not to mention that the place is super charming and well-located). The stay here helped make our weekend an unforgettable getaway. 10/10!

We would give 6*'s if we could!
This newly renovated historical 1800's B&B is perfect for a weekend getaway with super easy access from NYC in ~2hours by car or a coach stop in close proximity too (Monticello) with Coachline USA.
Rooms:
Each room is extremely clean, has a beautiful new ensuite bathroom, a cloud like bed and high quality furnishings. Hairdryer, iron, kettle with tea/coffee and towels all included.
Food:
All dishes have been carefully curated by Sonya the host mixing a blend of Australia and American cuisine.
There is breakfast included and the option of stopping for dinner too which we'd highly recommend! Breakfast was excellent
and we also sampled a variety of the dinner options. Every dish in the 4 course menu was delicious, see the photos!
Booking:
The hosts made us feel most welcome and went above and beyond to cater to all our needs throughout the whole stay.
The B&B is bookable by room or you can take the whole place for bigger groups and have it all to yourself which is what we had done.
Everything you need to book/know is on the easy to navigate website.
Free parking out front, and an abundance of natural beauty on your doorstep, it's a must visit!

We really enjoyed the food here at dinner and breakfast. I have to say that it is very overpriced for what you get you’re better off staying at a Marriott which would be cheaper. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom has barely enough space to move around and the water pressure is very low, not a big deal just wanted to mention. There’s no TV or mini fridge in the room. The room was very cold and there is no way to control the heat, and we were told we have “the hot room” and that a previous guest seemed unreasonable because they turned up the heat in the bathroom and it made the room hot and that we could open the windows if we were too hot… the icing on top of the cake is that we noticed the milk in our room for the coffee was over a month expired so it makes me question what other things they are overlooking.

The Yarra was a perfect getaway spot! The rooms were very efficient, cozy, and well maintained. We ate dinner there the first night of our stay and it exceeded our expectations. Sonja and Bridgett were friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome?. I highly recommend The Yarra!

Had an incredible stay at the Yarra. Sonya greeted us when we came. The inn was beautifully designed, clean, and very pleasant. In the morning, there was a make-it-yourself complimentary breakfast, which was very much appreciated.Rooms: Clean and cozy! Best part, hotel is dog friendly :) so we brought our little pup.Nearby activities: Catskill brewery, local restaurants. The website gave plenty of ideas!Noteworthy details: All amenities provided- realized I really didn’t have to pack anything because they had it all. Also, dinner options available.

This place is way!!! too over priced for this small quaint peaceful town, Roscoe doesn’t need hipsters increasing property tax with fake hotels and ruining another town. In the Catskills, go to Livingston manor with that you Brooklyn rejects

The Yarra is one of those rare places, where is thoughtfulness, talent, and quality all come together in one place. From the moment you walk in you feel cozy, and welcome. The food is nothing short of Crete, and the atmosphere lens itself to that second glass of wine, or maybe a third, and some relaxation. Whatever you do, always make sure to leave room for dessert! What a beautiful addition to the small town of Roscoe, it folds in seamlessly with the old flyfishing charm, happy to have you nearby!
