Heavenly. Wise and Holy Monks. A very nice gift shop. You can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit as soon as you get near the mountain. It's an incredibly peaceful feeling.

Easter christ is risen is at 12 . Not 10 pm. 10 pm is on the second day. Christ rose on the third day. You can not celebrate and have meat until 12. This is not the Orthodox way.

My husband Jay and I stumbled upon this beautiful, hidden monastery of on our way back from a wedding in Callacoun County. I met Fr Arsenio while entering his beautiful church. I asked if I should have a head shawl and I was given a long skirt and head scarf before proceeding inside. Out of reverence and respect this is an eastern orthodox culture which I wish was also applied in the RC churches. While having a great conversation with Father and being surrounded by all the beautiful icons, I had an overwhelming feeling of peace. Nothing is by chance, I was meant to be there and feel Gods love. Fr also gave me a white rose that had surrounded the Blessed Mothers picture and was blessed that morning. So fortunate to have been drawn to Gods house and to meet Fr Arsenio. What a true blessing. Thank you
