I did their mobile check in yet when I landed in tampa it took me over an hour to get my rental. I come to tampa 5-6 times a year and have never used Thrifty and never had an issue with the other car rentals but this is my 1st and LAST time renting with thrifty.

This is the worst company I ever dealt with. The car had problems I got them to come switch it out. Now 2 months later a $890 charge spears on my credit card. You can’t call and talk to anyone. No one answers the phone and when they do all they do is say I’m sorry. No one does anything to solve the problem. This is by far the WORST company to deal with

Long story short, I was on a family vacation and was called the morning after picking up the rental car, telling me the vehicle needed to be brought in for maintenance and it was a mistake in the system. I said that was fine but can you come get it, as my family and I had a very busy schedule, in which they would not work with me at all to remedy the situation. I ended up coming in at 10pm, and they took the vehicle, accused me of cutting the GPS wires and refused me a vehicle. Refused the full refund I was entitled to and now left me stranded at the airport with all other rental companies closed for the evening. Tried to fight back for the refund I was entitled to and they said take it up with my credit card company, so I did. Now 6 months later I am still being chased after for money, after they ruined a good portion of my vacation, screamed at me when I went out of my way to bring the vehicle back on my vacation, and refused a refund to me. I will never be renting from thrifty again - or anything under Hertz.

I would give it zero but it won't let me. They scamed my husband out of $600. Never again. Do not book even with expedia or any other third party. There worthlessness and the people working for them too.

DO NOT USE THRIFTY,Dirt bags bait and switch. beware of what you sign and check everything. they are trained to steal.ZERO customer support. don't waste your time. I have to dispute there thieving charges with my CC provider.SLIME BALLS

If I could give this place a 0 I totally would. Boyyy where do I start... I know beforehand that I was gonna use a debit card. So I told them. Surprised to find out that they actually do take it... but they didn't take my Chime Bank Card. Chime bank is not a prepaid card, it's a bank acct. with a checking, savings and routing and acct number. Now I'm probably gonna miss my trip, and they not gonna give me my money back. I guarantee if I was white they woulda found a way to accept my chime card. With a checking and savings account, there was NO WAY my reservation should have been declined. I'm gonna sue cuz everything says chime is a bank. Not a prepaid card. And they refused to rent to me.

I usually don't upload reviews but this is already the 3rd time that I'm giving them a chance hertz and thrifty are the worst companies in the world never rent from them especially not on this location

I rented a car on Friday, 1 Feb. only to find it smelled, was unwashed and had more than 10k miles on it. I went back to the rental desk at Macarthur airport and was given a Kia with 13K. I asked for an upgrade form a Corolla which they did not have to a Camry which they did (2). I was told no by the manager, Meghan (via telephone). It is impossible to understand her total lack of concern. Is this really the face it wants toproject to the public? As a result, I left terribly annoyed and disappointed.
