This is the worst company I have ever dealt with to move. They lost 3 chaise lounges worth $4500 and never reimbursed me as per contract weight promised. They broke considerable items and blamed the storage company. Pick another moving company. You won't regret your decision!

Moved from Long to Florida......Damaged artwork! Broke things! Paid to pack up house. Packed bronze sculpture in box with paper.......broke! Lost 3 new chaise lounges in mfg boxes worth $4000 and offered me $180, still waiting on the check. DON'T USE!

I called to get a price on a service of taking down a treadmill and day bed to be moved into another room in my apartment. First I was asked when and I responded sometime after this weekend and the lady on the phone was very short with me and told me that the day before thanksgiving is the only day they can do it. She asked what type of treadmill I have, which is a Nordik Trac, and she said “oh that’s one of those big ones”. It doesn’t need to be completely broken down but will need 2 people to move it and she gave me a price of $750. It wouldn’t take longer than an hour. This company is nuts. And I hope the owner knows that this lady isn’t good on the phones. Terrible customer service let alone pricing.

From John's visit to my mother's house in East Patchogue to give her an estimate on her move.....all the way until they delivered her belongings to her new home in South Carolina, QM&S was AWESOME! A family run business affiliated with Wheaton. Kathy was a pleasure to deal with each time I called the office. She always asked how my mom was doing because she knew it was overwhelming for her. Kathy was so friendly and assuring, that alot of my anxiety simply melted away! The three packers that came to the house were on-time, professional, careful and friendly. They worked hard and fast. They took special care of my mom's belongings and were especially sensitive and careful in packing my father's urn. When the moving team loaded the truck in NY and unloaded it in South Carolina, they were organized, flexible and efficient. They were careful yet worked quickly. They catered to my mother's concerns and moved things around for her until she was happy with where everything was put. They went above and beyond in making her feel at ease while they handled her possessions. My husband and I have moved 6 different times, to 4 different states, and this move that I organized for my mother was the smoothest of them all, and I did it all from North Carolina to boot! I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know that is moving in the NY area! Thank you again John, Kathy & Team :-)

We have moved many times and this has been the most professional company we have ever dealt with. First, the quote was right on with no surprises for extra charges. They were very accommodating to meet our time schedule, storage needs and moving into temporary housing.The crew was extremely careful moving the items out of the house withno damage to the house or to our belongings.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from quality moving. Kathy in the office was a gem to deal with as well as the wonderful movers that came to help my mother move from Lynbrook . I without hesitation would recommend them to anybody... they were courteous, on time, very professional and did their absolute best. If you're looking for great movers don't look any further.

I selected Quality Moving for our house move, based on their BBB rating of A+ and competitive pricing. I also liked that they were a local, family owned business.They lived up to all my expectations! They were professional, careful with our belongings and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Quality Moving!

We hired this company to move, store and move our belongings. The crew on moving day was very nice and they seemed to do a good job of wrapping things up that were going to storage. Moving out day went well. The moving truck left a big oil puddle in the driveway but that was no longer our problem. Fast forward to moving in day 3 months later. Some of our furniture and items came back dented and scratched. I suppose that is to be expected. Our staircase is tight and the walls got beat up. Again to be expected. We had some broken glass that they paid to replace. It took us a few weeks to completely unpack. We had boxes of china marked fragile and many of the plates wrapped in paper and bubble wrap were broken. Also at least one missing box that the company just kind of blew us off about. I don't know how this company stores things but I think it may be not the best way. They stored 2 aluminum ladders for us and returned one aluminum and one fiberglass. If this company is willing or able to find my missing box, I'd be more than willing to edit my review.

Dave was our contact. Moving day was very stressful. The 6 movers and 3 packers, Dave and his 1 young grandson showed up at different times, in the morning,(someone called out sick, drivers drive seperately, etc) but they got the move done by 530pm the same day,even though we had 2 days scheduled for packing then moving. We were not told that the storage location had changed from agreed location of Invergrove Heights to Roseville. (1 hour out of our way. $$) The communication was so frustrating that we decided to contract directly with Berger Allied instead, pay for storing there in Rosevilleand have them deliver/unpack the crates to future property. I recommend a BBB accredited company. Berger Allied made this easy for us to store there and not stress anymore. They mail the monthly storage bill. Berger Allied is very organized and efficient and the 4 employees we dealt with were very easy going and informative.

Quaility Moving and Storage moved a full house of possessions and furniture from Melville to South Jersey. I had done quite a bit of research as my move involved an expensive upright piano which not all companies have the expertise to move. Of the few estimates I received, John at Quailty provided the most fair and guaranteed "not to go over" price. Communication for setting a date and leading up to the move was professional. The loading team was was also professional and friendly and worked quickly. Despite some tight hallways and large items such as a treadmill, there was not even one nick to my walls. The truck arrived early the next morning at the new house and a team of just two pros made short work of unloading the entire truck. Everything was intact and not a scratch on the pano. This company is highly recommended.

I want to recommend Quality Moving and Storage. I had to move my mother from her studio apartment in one assisted living facility to another, and it did involve special requests. They were so considerate, efficient, and expeditious and they finished in an extremely timely fashion with no breakage of anything. I received such personalized care from Kathy and all of the men. They truly helped me deal with a very stressful situation and made my life easy.

I closed on my new home in North Carolina in the middle of the holiday season, I had this company move my belongings January 3!. From the moment I called the office until after the holiday rush I had a pleasant experience. From the receptionist to the manager and finally the truck driver and his team in Long Island I could not be more happy! The driver was hands on awesome, when our items arrived January 7th in NC, driver was there on time he didn't even wait for the crew to arrive and started bringing in the items and continued on even after crew arrived, very carefully and all receptive to our families request and where to put our stuff. I highly recommend this company! And best of all the price was great and no issues or hidden fees. Thank you guys ! You made a difference in our lives in those stressful weeks! Good luck
