Disgusting. Corporate leadership, really needs to get after these employees. Takes'em an eternity to stock a few shelves. Shoppers still tend to horde products, when the store has no surplus in storage.
Prices keep creeping-up, probably due to the excessive shoplifting. The grocery(food) section, is more expensive than Save-A-Lot grocery store. Making each, more expensive than Grand Union store, to buy food. You are...Dollar General. Of course the store itself is located in a low-income/poverty neighborhood, and those are the customers DG, depends on for business. Walmart, and Tractor Supply Company, and Aldi's, usually have lower prices. Shop around, would be wise. DG, makes you think you're saving money. but in reality, it's a lie. Even beer sold at Dollar General, is absurdly priced. I can get the same brands at Price Chopper, or Walmart, or even a convenience store, for far less money. And the brands of beer at DG, are lame. Same brands for the past decade. Typical cheap beer sold at outrageous prices, so the store can make a big profit. Hey, it's your money. Shop where ya want.
As for cleanliness. It's like walking-into a abandoned outhouse. Very dirty. Flors could use a professional scrubbing and waxing. Lots of duston shelves. Windows never cleaned. And the perimeter area of the outside is saturated with cigarette butts. How much energy is required to grab a broom? Ohwell. Corporate leadership onlycares about one thing: Getting your money.
And PLEASE. Stop asking customers if they want to round-off their purchase for some stupid charity cause. Most Dollar General customers, can't afford to be making donations. Of course, for some bizarre reason, some customers are driving expensive European cars. Don't figure.
Lastly(Amen): Get rid of the customers, that enter the store, reeking of marijuana. They sit in their cars, in theparking-lot, puffing away, and think it's funny smelling-up the store. Same for the morons, using vape-pens, inside the store. Boot'em out.
Epilogue: The store on Black River Boulevard, needs a major face-lift, and a seriopus look atsurrounding stores that offer better(cheaper) prices.

I love my local DG, it's only 4 mins down the road, 2 miles, so easy to get to. They always have whatever I need, whether it be something quick or something a bit bigger. Their prices are great, and the staff is absolutely wonderful!

Dirty store half stocked and understaffed. Dingy lighting as half of the lights are burned out. Snippy employees are rude

I have been in multiple times and every time it is poorly lit and dirty. At least one of the employees could work on tact and class. I will not be in again in the near future.

Darcy and Amy were very helpful on Thanksgiving right before closing. It is the employees that make this store great.

I always shop there. The workers are friendly & willing to help. There's just too much cages from the warehouse on the isles & makes it difficult to get to merchandise. It is a great store otherwise.
