My college age son brought his car to a chain store repair and tire shop in Rome for an oil change. They said he needed $700 worth of additional work to his car. He refused this extra work.
We then brought the car to Herrig's Auto Parts and Repair. During their assessment of the car they found that there was nothing wrong with my son's car. There were no repairs needed that the other shop said was necessary. Their honesty in a car repair place was very refreshing. We are bringing all of our family vehicles to Herrig's Auto.

Absolutely had to write this review .. I can’t say enough about how thankful I am to have found this place . I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and every single visit is met with respect and honesty - which in this business is very rare .
Both Herrig brothers are excellent mechanics and honest local business owners that hold up to every word of what they offer as services .
Anyone in Rome looking to get car repairs done - this is the place , you won’t find a better mechanic or a better price , period .

I was trying to get my vehicle inspected and had taken it to 3 different local mechanics before finally going to Herrigs.Each prior mechanic gave me a different problem(s).With-in 24 hours of having my vehicle Herrigs was able to tell me the exact problem(s) with my vehicle.Thank you Herrigs for being honest people and great mechanics.

The most honest! Also reasonably priced, in Rome. They try to get you right in. When ive had other places say they are 3 weeks out. This is the only place I'll go! Even if I had to wait that long! Thanks for being great guys!
