Great experience.Came here with my sister to sort out PoAs on our father's bank account. Our experience was wildly different than the reviews.First, there were multiple tellers and desk staff. Not sure where the waiting complaints are from.Second, we were substantively helped on both visits (this is a welcome change from the usual rigmarole when dealing with an incapacitated parent that didn't plan ahead), and our "to-do" list was not insubstantial.Thanks to everyone.

Wish I could give it zero stars. After more than 25 years I think it is time to switch banks. When my accounts were with Astoria Federal and then Sterling, I never had any issues. The customer service was great and I always was treated like a valued customer. Since Webster has taken over it is absolutely terrible! Disputes take weeks to resolve, you can never get anyone to call you back at the branch or answer any of your questions, and the customer service is practically a circus with you having to jump through hoops for weeks in order to get anything actually resolved. I definitely would not recommend this bank to anyone!! Worst bank I have ever dealt with!

Banking is fine but the drive through window has a line that is comparable to bestbuy on Black Friday. Also about 30-45 min wait

Always FRIENDLY and Helpful. Once, I almost missed a deadline for a 401K roll-over, but they alerted me and avoided a huge tax penalty. They are the best!

I really care about the people at this bank in Rocky Point because I have known them for years when it was Astoria Federal. However, since becoming Sterling, there are major problems and those do not revolve around the people who work there! I own my own consulting business and know how to be successful. The leadership at corporate is not doing a good job - understaffed always, depending on who has the time to answer the phone, poor customer service skills and the list goes on. How can anyone expect superior service when the person has a phone hanging in their ear, they are also helping people at the inside window and the outside window drive through??????? The corporate management team needs to be replaced with true leaders not people who should be selling ice cream....maybe.

The bank that loves to say no. Simple transaction become an ordeal. Understaffed! One teller working both drive up window and lobby window AND on the phone. Mobile app often down or unresponsive. I had been an Astoria customer for over 40 years without any issues. Sterling ruined them. I am close to moving my accounts to another bank.

I was online for 10 minutes 3 people that were working there were doing absolutely nothing but talking There was one person behind me and another person on the drive-through They just acted like we weren't even there

Takes Forever, They need more workers
