I started going to Wosa's in January 2017 for starter Locs. Every time I come they recognize me & I'm greeted with warm welcomes & smiles. I enjoy the conversations & the professionalism of the atmosphere. I'm never disappointed with the end result & the selections of products offered. I really like how they give you instructions & explain how to use each product when purchased and the tips on how to manage and care for my hair at home. I always get what I ask for & never feel rushed or pressured into buying products or services, they literally provide what I ask for. I can't wait to try my new body butters I picked up today!

I have been a lonnnnng time customer of Wosa’s since the early 2000’s. Wosa has done multiple styles with my hair over the years. Not just my hair, but two of my sons as well. If I’m not that the salon for services, I am a faithful fan of her products. Now Wosa is guiding me on my loc journey. I was able to get in quickly, the process took about two hours including dryer time. The reason why I mentioned “quickly” was I was leaving to drove home down south two days later and she managed to squeeze me in a day before Good Friday. And I was grateful for it. If I have questions I feel comfortable enough to contact her even though I’m no longer in Rochester. My questions are answered throughly (and I have a LOt of them at times!) i trust not just the process-but I trust her word on what may, or, what won’t work with my hair texture and length. My experiences have always been positive. Believe the next time I’m back in Rochester, I will make it a point to come back to the salon! Thanks Wosa for all that you’ve done and continue to do!

**Check the other 1 star reviews and there is a common theme with how rude Wosa is. Don’t waste your time here
If you want to deal with pettiness, disrespect, and poor customer service this is the shop for you. My boyfriend had an appointment two weeks ago requesting a style. Upon going to the appointment he was told that he had to pay for a wash which he wasn’t aware of. He texted me and asked if I could bring him the extra $20 for the wash. I wasn’t aware that for every style you need a wash, so upon coming to the shop I asked Wosa’s daughter for clarification. Per the text says they have 100% service guarantee to talk to them personally if anything was wrong. He also expressed how he felt about the time management. Yes, it was Mother’s Day weekend which we can acknowledge. However, he didn’t know it would take that long and when he did try to ask for clarification he was met with hostility. Which is condescending to their “100% service guarantee”. My boyfriend left them a 2 star review which hurt their feelings and they projected all of that anger onto me today. Today when I went in for my appointment, I was told that I was originally supposed to not have an appointment due to me being banned and that they had sent out a text. I didn’t initially receive the text and when I asked Wosa about the situation she was very rude. Before I left today, I asked them to send me the text so I could have it for reference. She told me that when I came in and asked the question about why he had to pay $20 extra I was causing “drama” which is why I’m being banned. I let her know I was simply trying to ask for clarification and she said “ I don’t know why you need clarification when your boyfriend who is an “adult man” already told you what happened”. So if you have questions, don’t bother asking they take it very personal. She also said she was upset due to me asking when my previous appointment would start when I was supposed to be scheduled at 12:30 and at 12:35 I asked when my appointment would start. Don’t waste your time coming here. They move slow, they can be pricey, and they are rude. There is so many better services else where. Don’t waste your energy on a 1 star shop.

The customer service needs to be approved. Even if you set an appointment they are not good on time management. Retwist are good but don’t always put customer needs first.

Horrible customer service, they are extremely rude and when you try to ask them a sensible question they get aggressive. They also never tell you upfront on their service list all the details about the prices. Definitely won’t commend if you are looking for good customer service.

I can say this because I’ve definitely spent enough time in this salon. You can gain much insight in a multifaceted way at Wosa’s, and certainly learn much about your hair and how to care for it. The vibe is always family level, I retwist different times than my children to chill out there more often lol Ms. Wosa has even given me wisdom beyond hair that has increased my wisdom and insight, if I actually applied what she said. This is seriously one of my children’s favorite activities to do, get a retwist because of the amazing team there. I’ve seen a bad review, and all I can say is this; I fully believe that anyone who wishes to enjoy others, will certainly love being at Wosa’s for their haircare needs, maybe it was just not a good day for another reason and they brought that with them to the shop. I say that because I see how many people treasure their experiences here with this team, many genuine laughs from all sides of the shop. Even if someone was introverted, Wosa would have picked that up and shown her multifaceted wisdom by giving them an experience tailored to their personality as well! I have given this review time, simply because it is well deserved by the team of this shop. Please consider just checking out the vibe of the shop, if the vibes don’t get you, the prices will lol much love to the reader!

I feel bad that I have been going here for care of my locs before Google existed and never left a review. Wosa's is the place to go for your hair needs. They are clean, fast and thorough. Also they are just great people. Professional and friendly.

My locs feel so soft and silky ..I Love how confident she was doing my hair and made me feel comfortable…Molly your wash was everything!!!! I've visited this salon on multiple occasions, I've never had bad service or a nightmare treatment in MY LIFE, WOSA ripped me off $1,000 sisterlocks that she was never a certified motherf*cker sister locs. I went other certified sister locks was told I have to shave off my hair and started all over again and 6 months later got another sisterlocks for just $100! WOSA IS A GOLD GIGGERS A BIG TIME!!
