After 25 years of giving Wegmans way too much oh my hard earned money, and the SERIOUS DEGRADE in product selection, help that doesn't, wit a very few exceptions, being injured by a defective product,and no offer of first aid, and having known and worked for Bob Wegman, I now shop at Whole Foods, much fresher produce, staff that go out of their way to greet and help, and their bakery items DON'T come to the store half frozen and then warmed at the store (2 employees shared that secretly) who would want to pay for sub standard products. Wegmans doesn't even have store level meat cutters, the meat dept simply stock the shelves with product that has been Packed for up to 2 weeks even before it hits the stores. Another Wegmans secret shared by employees who 'stock' the shelves. Thankfully, Bob Wegman does not see this, he wouldn't let standards drop so below. Fortune magazine now has them even lower than ever before. Remember when Wegs was number 1?? Not any more. There are better choices and savings at Whole Foods and ALDI'S.

Wegmans as a whole is amazing, greatest grocery store I've ever been but over now in the course of 2 year I've bought wings from their delis 3 times and each time the wings are some of the absolute worst garbage I've ever wasted money on. Completely soggy soft mushy bone in wings every time. They aren't even deep fried yet are expensive. Everything else about Wegmans, awesome ? but their wings are utter garbage

Bakery saved my Mother’s Day! A small bake shop in Rochester fell thru on some cakes for this weekend and Wegmans saved the day!
Had to deduct one star due to a catering order placed a few years ago as it was made incorrectly.

They are getting rid of other companies' products. And only carry their products. Some of their things are not as good as named brands. They also stopped carrying some brands of breads, sausage from Jimmy Dean. Also, the employees are always blocking isles on a weekend. You have to check the expiration dates on their items. I have often purchased items like that.
