315 Gregory St, Rochester“We are thoroughly pleased with our choice for our wedding venue. From the beginning they were communicative and beyond helpful in answering our numerous questions and had a great understanding that we were spending a good sum of money to have a wedding. We never felt they tried to upsell us, but we are pleased we decided to add the bridal suite and upgrade to the premium bar which ended up only adding just over $100 to our bill at the last minute. The premium bar took our 2 signature drinks to the next level and everyone was obsessed! Because we went with the premium bar they were able to create fun, gorgeous, and custom mocktails on the spot for our guests who don't drink! They provide a coordinator to keep the schedule moving and coordinate all logistics with your vendors (something we had budgeted for a DOC and didn't need with them! I am a program planner and designer so I found that this was all I needed, but if you need a wedding planner that would be an outside service). They helped us create a perfect timeline and with my perfectionism we were ahead of schedule for a calm stress-free day. Having the two-room bridal suite was amazing, relaxing, and provided ample space for us and our families and wedding party. They were prompt and accommodating to all our day of needs and the staff were genuinely excited throughout the night. We had a relatively small wedding - just over 50 people and we felt like the space worked well. It didn't feel empty with a small number which was hard for us to find. 1000/10 would recommend.
Additionally, we went with their recommendation for a DJ, Brandon Fess, who only works at HGH. We were looking for someone inexpensive and didn't need a typical DJ experience for our small group. He was great to work with to develop our custom dance, cocktail hour, and dinner playlists. He did the normal emcee duties, but was otherwise hands off which is what we wanted! Since it was the first few days after the summer solstice we didn't want a light package since it was only dark enough for the last hour of the night with all of HGH's gorgeous windows providing ample light.”
“We truly had our dream wedding at the Port (Arbor at the Port). The minute we walked into the building we knew it was the wedding venue for us. From the beautiful setting to the amazing staff, we were hooked! We cannot say enough about the staff. We worked with Carly to curate our perfect wedding. She was always responsive to our emails, providing us with answers to our many questions. We would have been so lost without her. Not being from the area you would think it would be difficult to stay in contact and book vendors. But we had the best experience working with Carly! We decided to go with the greens and candles package through the Arbor (Agathi and Co) and could not have been more pleased. The flowers and greenery were breathtaking! The efficiency of the staff is unmatched! They made the experience stress-free and so enjoyable! We also worked with Jazz on our wedding day. She was so attentive to anything we needed! Our wedding day was everything we could have ever imagined, a fairy tale wedding! Our guests could not stop talking about the beautiful venue and kindness of the staff. Thank you to the Arbor for everything! We cannot recommend them enough!Photos by Kniley Photography (also highly recommend!)”
“Really one of the coolest museums I have ever been to. An interesting collection of art and artifacts. We have been there 5-6 times and we still have not seen it all. A must-see in the cultural scene in Rochester.”
“My Wife and I got married at The Wintergarden in August this year and it was the best day of our lives! Taylor and her team made the day better than we could have ever asked for! She was always responsive whenever we had question, even responding at midnight if she had to. The food is the best wedding food you will ever have, and the staff is so friendly, our guests have not stopped talking about it. No better venue in upstate NY to get married at!”
“We had our wedding in February 2024 at Jackrabbit Club. The venue and staff make wedding planning easy. The venue itself is stunning; we had very minimal décor and it still felt unique and luxurious. Joelle was wonderful to work with and helped create the floor plan, menu, and schedule. Our guests are still gushing about the cocktails and the dinner service was phenomenal. Everyone at Jackrabbit Club was professional, attentive, and cheerful. We highly recommend Jackrabbit for a wedding or event!”

“Such a fun place with a phenomenal variety of classes! We always look forward to our next booking! Such a great resource for putting together a comprehensive list of local offerings!”
“I had a great time, I don't know why this building feels like it's not up to code, but I do like the architecture. I feel like if Dracula was to buy a house, he would buy this building? The party I went to was the best.”

180 St Paul St, Rochester“Studio 180 was our venue for our wedding this past weekend. John and the staff there are all incredible. Not only is the space absolutely gorgeous (especially later in the day with all the candles, and perfect in the fall!), the customer service was above and beyond. John helped us navigate through rescheduling due to covid and all that entailed. We are thrilled with how everything turned out - highly recommend!”
“I had my bridal shower at the Stutson House and it was absolutely amazing!! The staff was so attentive and helpful throughout the entire process (from the original planning to packing up after our event). My guests raved about the space and food. As for myself, i knew i wanted a low maintenance shower being that the space was perfectly decorated and supplied stunning centerpieces it was an easy decision in my opinion! I hope i have another reason to host an event at the Stutson House, i 10/10 recommend!”

155 N Chestnut St, Rochester“We looked at a LOT of venues, but we absolutely fell in love with the Harro East Ballroom. It was also the most affordable of the places we got quotes from, and we’re so so glad we chose it. It was the best decision we made! The Harro East Ballroom is a gorgeous building and it photographed beautifully. There was plenty of space for our 130-person guest count, but they can definitely handle a lot more. Bridget, the coordinator we worked with, was so helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond and gave us great advice about our wedding day timeline, how to decorate the space, what other vendors to work with—everything! Also, the food was delicious! We heard so many compliments from our guests. We did a buffet and loved being able to customize our menu.I would without a doubt recommend the Harro East Ballroom to anyone getting married in the Rochester area!”

1 East Ave, Rochester“A Memorable Celebration @ The PH venue.I recently hosted my husband's 50th birthday surprise party at the Penthouse Venue, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Heidi, in particular, ensured every detail was perfect, and John was an absolute delight to work with. The venue itself was stunning, offering breathtaking views and a luxurious atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the celebration. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities truly impressed both myself and my guests.Throughout the planning process, the staff were attentive and responsive, making it easy to coordinate every aspect of the event. On the day of the party, everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the festivities without any worries.Overall, I cannot recommend The Penthouse Venue enough. The combination of exceptional service, stunning surroundings, and helpful staff made for a truly memorable experience. I will definitely be booking with them again in the future.”

“The Food is just amazing.. We have bhad the Marching Band Banquet here, now 3 years running...They are very Accommodating to all different allergies and or food allergies..Thank you”
“If you are a fan of the Alamo Draft House then you will love this place. It's a much smaller scale than Alamo - think the mom and pop version of the Alamo. There is only one screen so they only play one movie at a time. But it was wonderful. Drinks were great. Food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just make sure that you check out the website ahead of time to find out about parking and I would suggest creating a Heartland account prior to ordering the food. Definitely happy Rochester has something like this. I highly recommend it especially for a date night. We will be back, frequently. ?”
“We had our daughter's birthday party here having never been in before. We were very impressed by how they went above and beyond to make the party feel special for us. My daughter wanted a frozen themed party and they made the games, music and decor fit the theme. Angela was our party host and she did a great job keeping the kids entertained and making things run smooth. I'd recommend to anyone to have a kids party here and we will be back in future years! Thanks Dynamic!!”
“Excellent event space. We were able to have our event here with nearly 100 people present. Plenty of tables and chairs, full kitchen, serving bar. Handicapped accessible. However, it shares a parking lot with the golf course, so be prepared. One can park in a wooded area across the street though.”

“I've grown up with this venue and I always liked it. There's not a bad seat in the house. The fact that it's a comparatively small space is a big benefit. Parking in traffic as well as entry and exit crowds are usually not that big a deal especially compared to the venues at big cities. There's also good food in the area. Even though it may not draw all the biggest acts the overall experience is quite positive.”
“So was in town to see our son at college. Not much to do on an Easter Sunday, so hey, the bowling alley was open why not check it out. Very clean friendly staff. Nice size bar little snack stand can’t go wrong.”

1635 W Ridge Rd, Rochester“I can only tell you that I loved this hotel. It is a hotel with few rooms and there are only 4 floors, but very cozy. I think of the few places I can say that everything was good. The attention, cleanliness, service and breakfast were very varied even though my check out was on Monday. As an informative note, I did not know that breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays was 7:00am/10:00am and that on weekdays it was 7/9:30am. And the reason was because the day before I had not gone down to breakfast and when we went down almost at 9:30 that's when I found out that information. But anyway we had a few minutes and it gave us time to enjoy breakfast. The employees are super attentive, especially a young woman named Rosa who, even though she was not the cleaning lady, asked for towels and toilet paper and I gladly took them to the room. So if you are ever in the State of Rochester, don't think twice and go to Holiday Inn Express.?Rooms: Very comfortable and spacious.”

3333 W Henrietta Rd, Rochester“Altitude Trampoline park has many stuff you can do. There is one thing where you jump high and you don't get hit by a spinning thing. Massage area for adults to relax, trampolines are amazing, bouncy. Safety first so you need to wear altitude socks in order to get in.”

“I brought my team here for a Team Building event. I was surprised by how great the inside was. Very nice setup , they have limited drink selection but what they have is all good and it’s a solid variety. Best of the the staff was phenomenal. Bridget was our coach and she was amazing. She took the time to explain and teach us while ensuring everyone felt safe ( I had a couple people that were a little scared of throwing axes ). We will definitely plan another event there !!”
