No one showed up to open the lab at Culver @ 8:00. It is now 8:30. Several of us called UofR and were told someone is on the way. They could not tell us how much longer it would be. There are 10 of us waiting. Some are leaving to try another lab. Very frustrating as some of are fasting or have lab work that doctors need completed today.

Arrived at lab at 8am which is opening time. No one at the reception desk and no phlebotomist! There were 8 people waiting ahead of me. At 8:20 someone announced that someone was on their way. Tired of waiting and went to South Clinton lab where I was in and out in 10 minutes.

ONE star for URMC forcing a single phlebotomist to manage the entire busy lab at Culver Road all on her own…from handling check-in’s and patient questions to blood draws and clean up.FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to the young phlebotomist absolutely hustling hard all on her own!! She’s making it all happen under the stress and pressure of managing everything AND provided a completely pain-free and bruise-free experience during my visit on Sept. 18, 2023. She absolutely deserves a promotion and a big RAISE!!!URMC: DO BETTER FOR YOUR DEDICATED EMPLOYEES!!!!

Went for a timed pregnancy glucose test and was kept waiting beyond the time when the test results would be valid only to be told very rudely that the results would be invalid because it took too long from the time we showed up before anyone acknowledged us, nearly 20 minutes. I was not made aware there was an upper time limit on getting the test done nor would it have been done in time based on the incredible wait time at this lab. Very disappointing.

Sat morning on the front says they are open. Wrong ! went there closed. Change the sign or open based on the signs

This lab was awful for many reasons. Told to check-in online from my car. I did; was notified the wait was 12 minutes. 30 minutes later my phone rang...needed more info to finish checking in. Went inside to find SRO waiting room, but was still told to "take a seat" in the close-together cluster of chairs in the middle of a big waiting room. A full hour later someone mumbled my name, I think. Blood was taken without an utterance except "you're all set"; didn't even verify my name and date of birth once. Proximity to this location will never make me return. Sadly, couldn't give less than one star.

Despite reading some negative reviews, I decided to give this place a try since I can walk to it from where I live. I won't be going back. I left after waiting 50 minutes, with no indication I was going to be called anytime soon. If you do choose to go here, bring a good book with you.

Don't go in for blood work if you're in a rush. All other businesses are short staffed. Just as this place is. I've been to this facility 4 times for blood work and it's been a slow but pleasant experience. Never had any issue with rude staff. They do the best they can with what they have to work with. It would be nice if the online presents reflected the change of hours that the facility is open. Still currently open at 8am Tuesdays and Thursdays for blood work. For anyone looking for that answer like i was.

DO NOT come here in the morning. You will be waiting for hours to get blood drawn. They only have one person drawing blood. I waited for 1.5 hours after getting there right at 8AM when they opened. I would expect more from a UR medicine affiliate.
