What a great shop!I had brought my daughter's car to another mechanic that informed me that the transmission is shot and would be around $4K to put in a used transmission. Yet, there were no codes. Something wasn't right. Everything was pointing me to bad catalytic converters, but they disagreed.I did some searches for independent shops that specialize in Subarus. Turning Leaf looked promising.I was right in my choice and diagnosis. The car was only there an hour and it was 100% clogged cats.Turning Leaf saved her thousands in work that wouldn't have fixed the car through diagnosis, not guesses and throwing parts at it.If she ever needs more work, it's going back there!

Love Mike great guy! Little of advice. Before you touch a vehicle let the owner know what the cost will be upfront. Don’t surprise them with a number when picking it up. That should be explained before you do Anything to anyone’s car. You don’t know what their pockets are like. Very unprofessional. Please let ppl know what you’re charging them before they bring it to you. I wasted 3 rides getting there just to not be informed on price. Wow. Never again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've only owned a car for the last few years, and refuse to take my car to anywhere else. I got a recommendation from a friend originally but have found multiple online recommendations for this place which just reassures me that I chose the right shop. Never done me wrong, never overcharged me, never left the shop unhappy with what I paid for. Brian gives solid advice, and has helped me understand how to take care of my vehicle. Will continue to go here until I move or the shop goes out of business (which will NEVER happen!)Services: Steering & suspension repair

I went in with a appointment for NYS inspection. I got in and was expecting to have to come back. My car was pulled in almost right after me and was inspected. Price was $21.00

I’ll be going back to this shop in the future. They were honest, professional and affordable. I also appreciate that they will install parts you bring in and don’t require you to buy parts through them. They looked my car over and gave me a detailed list of future work I should do with prices and everything. Very happy with this shop.

Very responsive and excellent mechanical and personal service when our car warning lights came on. We were visiting from Australia and travelling for the imminent arrival of twin grand children.
