Whatever happened to the jingle "tops never stops saving you more?" There prices are ridiculously high! I'm surprised there still in business. They don't care about families, they only want that money! I'll never shop here again. It's walmart or wegmans for me.

very nice tops the sushi is better than wegmans but they have a real bad problem of keeping expired food off the shelves.i have bought expired tops cider and spanish cookies that were over a month expired

Came in to the Mt. Read store for coleslaw 9/4/23@ 11:00am, ZERO assistance from both the people in the deli who both looked right at me, not even a “Be right with you “ nothing .Horrible service, back to Wegmans !

I regret that this is the tops nearest to me. On one hand, the remodel looks really good, the store is VERY clean and orderly. On the other hand some of the employees are absolutely miserable to deal with. There’s one girl there who tells us how much she hates her job every time we get into her line and it’s not a good look for the store. I hate getting in her line when she says that too because it’s like I just got there to grab my 3 items for dinner and this little girl is like “ugh I am so over this today, I hate my job, I hate doing this.” As she is scanning my items. It’s happened now 3 times with this same girl. I guess it’s not the entire stores fault that my experience at tops is unpleasant, everyone else is nice enough. I just cross my fingers that we don’t accidentally end up in her line so she can tell us how much she hates her job and customers while being a customer. There are some other honorable mentions, they always have almost all their lights off light they are shutting down. It looks like closing time at 5pm. Not even 1/4 of the store is lit. It’s really strange, I don’t know what that’s about. Also, they always say they have our cat food but it’s never in stock. Really strange and specific items are always completely COMPLETELY out of stock, like someone waits for the shipments and buys up all the Purina Sensitive Stomach Cat Food. It’s bizarre. There’s always a spot for it, but it’s never there. Also don’t buy from the deli there. All their salads are crusty and gross and have been sitting out all day. I ordered a sub a couple weeks ago and my fiancé got some ambrosia and all the other salads were all dried up and nasty and cross contaminated with other salads and the girl who made my sub was abominably rude. She huffed and puffed over one Italian assorted sub. She was SO rude and then when I got home and ate the thing the bread was so gross and stale. You want a good deli go a block up to wegmans.

Having been a loyal Tops shopper for nearly 25 years I was extremely disappointed in the customer service treatment I received recently at the checkout line. I lost my bonus card about a week previously and had applied for a replacement. Unfortunately my new phone number was not being recognized and a manager had to be called to swipe her card. She was rude, unfriendly and made me feel very uncomfortable. I did not appreciate the sarcasm and her eye rolling during our conversation. It's a shame because I have found the staff at this store to be very helpful and friendly. I will be searching her out to report her unwanted behavior.

I have very disappointed with customer service . Staff name: Keysha from customer service counter .i was just try to sending out money with western union at this location.She is very bad customer service, bad attitude didn’t help at all.if you not like doing customer service or ur job,You shouldn’t be there. I will never going back this store for any reason.

First time at this store & the layout makes no sense. We had a super hard time finding items we needed. The selection of produce was quite small & a lot of it was steeply overpriced compared to other grocery stores in the area.We got what we needed, but it both took much longer and cost ~20-30% more. Likely won't be shopping here often.

I find the newly remolded Tops to be very nice. And, set up nicely.The folks that work there are very nice and helpful.Yes, you have to watch the prices, but the coupons help and so doesthe once a month senior day.You don't get any savings at Wegmans at all. No sales, no coupons.After 40 years of shopping at Wegmans, I only go to Tops and Aldi.Wegman is too rich for my money.Thank you Tops.

Mount read tops bakery is absolutely amazing! Sue does the best cakes! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I would use them for any event. Cake is amazing and the whip cream frosting is delicious

Renovated front end looks great. Added a Starbucks, and brightened things up. Saved $2.50 over main competition on a roaster chicken, and the chicken itself was much bigger.
