Spoke with owner who seemed very helpful when she heard the dollar amount to create a funeral arrangement. Unfortunately she couldn't get any of the flowers I was looking for, so I had to work with the small selection of flowers she could get, also no store front to visit, just a website. But then things got uncomfortable when I asked her name. She wouldn't give me one and said I was weird for asking. Being i was paying in cash I wanted assurance she was the real owner. She was going to come to my home to pick up the cash in order to proceed. I would have preferred to drop her the money, as her coming to my home felt strange, but she wouldn't give me that option and being she doesn't have a store I couldn't drop to her directly.
This was a 300$ arrangement and being paid in cash I wanted a guarantee she is in fact a real florist. The order has since been cancelled. Went with another that could give me exactly what I was looking for.
Wouldn't refer a friend to Magic garden florist as she is rude, obnoxious, not the face of a business owner that is prideful in her trade, and my questions were met with her frustration and appeared to be quite an imposition for her. I see her reviews here, but as we all know, reviews can be fake as well, along with websites. Unsatisfied, if I could give her a zero I would. I don’t know how, but my previous review was taken down.

I call from NYC to Dawn at Magic Garden, to have flowers delivered to my Mom at The Meadows, St. John’s Independent Living. Always attentive, kind, and the arrangements are always beautiful and thoughtfully assembled. Thank you!

Dawn was so easy to work with, she emailed me because i did not leave my phone number and we had a couple conversations to make sure her driver got to the right place. They did a great job and my gf was so happy with the arrangement that Dawn put together. Thank you again Dawn and team.

We have been a patron of The Magic Garden for over twenty years. Since ~2001 when they were located in downtown Rochester on State Street.
Our out of town family has ordered flowers for delivery to us on those special occasions.
For our needs for someone out of town for floral delivery, we shop here as well.
We have never been disappointed and have always been impressed with arrangements.
I highly recommend this florist for not only your special occasions, but also your any day needs. You will be glad you made the choice to shop here!

They truly outdid themselves! Affordable yet with the utmost quality. I’m out of state as a travel for work, and they were able to do same day delivery. I ordered around 11am and delivered by 2:30pm. My mom says they are gorgeous and her office smells SO GOOD! Thank you!

Stopped here because I was with a friend. I met the owner, and what a terrific person she is. We talked for about an hour and a half. As we talked I watched how fast she was able to do all of the floral arrangements that she had for that day. A great place to buy your flowers. Not only was it a good experience being there and watching her do her work, it was also a blessing to make a new friend. I can see why she's been in business for so long. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful flowers, great service. The most recent time I ordered flowers, I realized the day before that they needed to go to a different address. Calling to make the change was super quick and easy :)

I wanted to purchase some flowers for my mom for Valentine’s Day but couldn’t find anything I really liked at other places. I saw they had the option for “Valentine’s Day Designer Choice” and decided to take a chance. I just specified that I wanted bright colors but not that many roses. It ended up being the best decision ever!! They called the day before to check with me and they delivered the next day (day before Valentine’s Day). My mom was completely surprised and it is more beautiful than I imagined!! 10/10 will go back again and recommend to all my friends!

Great customer service! I waited until the last minute for Valentine’s Day on my way home from work. The owner was very helpful and personable. She helped me select all the flowers and beautiful colors that were in my valentines bouquet. 10/10 recommend coming to the Magic Garden. My girlfriend was pleasantly surprised with her beautiful bouquet!!

Worked directly with Dawn, and she put together a very beautiful bouquet of flowers in no time. She even threw in some extras at no cost. I tried to give her more money and she simply refused. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of a florist for any needs.Would absolutely come back again, and again.

Seems like a nice place but it doesn't matter too much when they can't be opened on time. It's 20 minutes past opening time and no one to be seen in the store and to pick up the phone
