Worst ever. Bought our house and called for information because their system was here already.Told the woman to wait a couple weeks till we checked out other suppliers. She didn’t. Had them come get their tank. Now trying to get us to pay for removal. Went with another company because of their excessive hidden charges and high prices. Refused to give us the managers name and contact information. Threatening to take us to court for the pickup fee. They have been very rude and non responsive. Even went to their office to get information. She tried not to give us the supposed contract. Tried to take the copy from us and still refused our request for the managers contact information. Please just go to a reputable company.

I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to get my refund of the propane in the tank they removed 60 days prior. These people are impossible to get ahold of and when you do, they don't do what they say they will. Now, 4 weeks after finally receiving my refund and CLOSING my account, I've received a new bill for $96 for the tank rental for 2024 (this being the same tank they picked up back in October). I hate these people.

Inferior Propaine is a more fitting name. When they introduce "intermet ordering", for reduce phone calls, has been a nightmare. It took 20 phone calls not 1, and 3 months just to get the meter working. Now you order a tank and the deliver half a take ... they don't fill it them give you credit and a half-full tank.

I am currently rehabbing a house and am forced to switch to propane do to a delay in having a replacement gas service and new meter installed. Prior to this project I have never needed propane for anything other than my grill. Without recommendation, I began a search for a temporary propane service to be provided. The disparity in pricing per gallon, service and fees was staggering. In the end I went with Superior Energy. It was a little confusing in the beginning as they are a large company and getting where exactly I needed to go took a bit. However, I have been absolutely impressed with their pricing and customer service! I have had excellent customer service from my salesperson, through the offices right through to the delivery and set up. Shout out specifically to the Newark and Caledonia offices for there communication between each other and follow ups. I could not have imagined a better interaction and to top it off they had the best pricing!! Thank you, thank you and thank you!

I am done with this company. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they gave me a pretty decent deal on the original tank installation. I have only used them for propane deliveries, with a small tank used for a fireplace insert. Originally was told all I needed to do was fill it once a year, and there'd be no ongoing charge to rent the tank. A while back, I got a service charge. After investigating, they told me it had to be once between Oct and Sept of the following year. So, I've made sure to have at least one fill-up in that time frame since. Now, suddenly I have a service charge, even though I filled it in March. I called them and was told - oh - yes - we changed the policy to a minimum # of gallons a year now. Thanks for telling me that before you charged me 90 bucks.... I know I use a relatively small amount of propane a year, but they charge nearly double what propane is going for at a given time. And the mystery fees that keep going up are very annoying as well. I'm now looking into one of the BBB Accredited (and highly rated) companies to switch to.

The driver filled my tank to 81%. It was 57 degrees outside. In the past it was filled to 90%. Since I did a pre-buy which expires in two weeks, I wanted it filled more than 81% to save money now.

I would love to give this company a negative -100, I have been fighting with this organization about being over billed by $1,052, after waiting for two weeks, and them not willing to except their wrongful billing. They left me with no choice but accepting an lesser credit of close to 700. Then the have me on hold from propane deliveries for a open balance of $1,200, of which they say $1,900 is due based on them putting us on a budget, which I never agreed to and checks they were being paid were never based on a budget. So I get, Lynn on the phone from the Rochester, NY office, who clearly sounds like she is of my age, over 40, huffing and puffing at me as I'm trying to explain what has been going on with my account, like she's a 12 year old. So hopefully her manager, Sarah or Sarah's manager Jason will see how unprofessional their employee is, and maybe try to reach out to me since they make it impossible to reach the corporate location.

Currently dealing with the common complaint here of not being refunded after stopping propane service. I called after a month and coincidentally "the check will be in the mail tomorrow" and be here within 3 weeks. We'll see I suppose. What's one more bad review in the sea of bad reviews I guess.

Superior’s customer service is less than desirable. I’ve called multiple times and left messages through their website. I struggled with them to call me back. They come deliver propane to my house and they leave zero documentation that they were there. There is no checks and balances and how much propane they’re putting in the tank vs how much they’re charging you. Even with being on the auto pay program I came home from work to find that they came and took the tank without me knowing. This is pretty disturbing.

Quite literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. It almost feels deliberate. Frankly, it's scary that a company so disorganized and incompetent is trusted with heating our homes. Incessant price increases, always off schedule, with horrible customer service to match. Just abysmal.

Charged a fee for "expediting" my oil even though they told me it would be 5-10 days to receive the oil and no one mentioned the $75.00 fee! The cavalier attitude when asked about the additional fee was unreal.

Worst propane supplier ever wouldn't recommend to anyone. Went with new supplier saved over $ 2.80 a gallon .let's see if I get a refund on approximately 150 gallons left in tanks .if you use this company check your pricing you are probably getting overcharged.

Been with superior for 6years in buck pa. Monday I call tell them I'm at 15% and I need to be filled Wednesday comes they still are not at the house to fill call again they say we are scheduled for 2/9/22 at this point we are at 1% I asked could I pay a fee to have someone out today they said no we don't do that we will try to get someone out tomorrow the price is $4.69 a gl I said no thanks come pick up your tanks and I called a local family owned company called c&l fuel of Bristol pa they came out and had new tanks and filled them. Still waiting on superior to pick up the old tanks I told them they have 7days or I will charge them for storage.

Paid way too much for propane. We have been a customer with Superior Plus for a long time now. We ordered propane to be filled and were charged $5.919/per gallon....EXCUSE ME!!! We have another house in Maryland and we were charged $2.91/gallon. How can this be so? My husband called to ask why so high, and they made some lame excuse as to we are a low volume propane user and only get our tank filled once/year--we only use the propane for our gas fireplace and cooktop--.He then stated he was not going to pay that outrageous amount and they agreed to drop the price. It sound like they are just making up prices in the hopes that people will pay these outrageous costs. I feel totally taken advantage of...Shame on you. Just a warning for people out there to be cautious of their bills that are coming in.
