I've been behind the wheel for well over 40 years and always looked for an Auto Repair Shop that I could count on. Scotty's Nails it. They are reliable, efficient, reasonably priced, pleasant to work with, flexible. They've built the confidence I hold in their work by actions, solid work ethic, coming up with innovative, economical and effective work arounds to avoid top dollar standard solutions. Colleen & Paulie ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST.

FANTASTIC!!! My 2016 Beetle was throwing codes for a while and would sometimes shake pretty bad when accelerated over 45mph. My regular garage who I have always trusted didn't look into what the codes meant and told me they didn't know. Finally, I went to Scotty's even though they were booked solid for the next 10 days. Paulie said he would just run the codes and see what they said. He quickly told me it was unsafe to drive. He really dug in and diagnosed the problems which were electrical. It was done within 24 hours. My car has been back on the road for over a week and running like a dream. Thank you so much Paulie for caring enough to keep a new customer safe and for being curious and tenacious until you figured it out. I am so grateful and will be going to Scotty's from now on!!

I've been going to Scotty's for over 10 years. They are honest and reliable, and they go out of their way to help you. Highly recommend.

I started using Scottys as a reliable Auto shop to take my car to. The first couple years (2017-2019) were good. Quick response & timely service. Recently I've taken my car there, with an appointment I made last week, still driving my car for a week with a Check Engine Light on and the ABS Brake light on. I dropped my car off on Tuesday night so that they could work on it bright band early. I had to wait almost an entire day to hear back from them, in addition to waiting up until they Close at night to get my car in my possession again. Scottys called me around noon today with an estimate for repairs and literally I had to call them at 8:30pm to check on my car. I picked my car up after 9:00pm tonight. I'm not sure what has happened in the past couple years but I find this unacceptable service practice. :-(

This shop was a blessing for me to find. I had just moved to the area a while ago and had to find a new shop for my car. The guys here are so friendly, honest, and easy to talk to as far as telling them exactly what you need, and them explaining to you what is going on with your car. They don't try to up sell you. Once they start knowing your car and your driving habbits/history, they pretty much can tell you what you are going to need (and even not need) for future maintenance. Even when they found out I was getting a new (used) car (my 14 y.o car finally kicked the bucket), they offered right away to have me bring in the car to have them look at it before I officially purchased it to make sure I was getting a good car. This is definitely your great neighborhood car shops to go to!

Marco, the owner, is dishonest. He will do unnecessary work and screw you out of your money. Avoid this entire business. He has no idea what he's doing, he will just steal your money.

My battery died across the street, and they jumped it for free. Nice guys.

I went to Sunoco for an oil change and to get the rest of my fluids checked because I don't feel comfortable working with my car on my own. The owner took full advantage of this, telling me an oil change would be from $39.99 to $60, not including checking my anti-freeze, my windshield wiper fluid, installing new blades and the price of the fluid and blades themselves. He would not give me an estimate on how much this all cost, and when I told him a standard oil change is $20 at Monroe he was extremely rude and handed my key back to me. I called Monroe to double check, found out they will also check all my fluids, and an oil change is $14.99. He quoted me for the blades alone around $30 each, looking them up I have found them priced from $40 for a three pack of blades. I took my car to Monroe, recommend you do the same.

I had a long car trip coming up and my car started making a terrible noise on a Friday night. The owner stayed late and got my car fixed up. Brakes had gone bad. Thanks to them I got to make my trip safely. Love these guys

Earlier today I dropped off my car for a NYS inspection and had a terrible experience. My wife and I have been a regular customer for gas for the last 6 years. I typically get my car serviced by my uncle who is a mechanic but my inspection was expired and they are right down the street and I thought i could trust them. I got a call from one of the mechanics stating that everything was good except i had a tear in one of my wiper blades and they could change out both for $50. The problem with that is I just got both replaced last week so I told him I had a warranty and they would exchange them out for me for free. He tried to tell me that he worked at the place that I got them installed and they don't have a warranty which I know they do. I told him pleas do not replace them. I came in and looked at my wiper and it was not torn, it "appeared" as if someone pulled out the blade at the end of one of them. I told the owner and he said he didn't work on the car, I told him I would just slip it back in but he insisted on doing it himself. They brought my car back in and passed the inspection. Then I saw that one of the mechanics drew a picture of a "teddy bear with a frown face" I didn't say anything when I saw it. Then I got into my car and went right to my dashboard glove box and saw that 2-delta sonic gift cards were taken. I had just put them in the car prior to going there and I considered taking them out but didnt bc i thought i could trust them. I got out of my car and spoke with the owner about everything. The mechanic who worked on my car hurried back to the back room before coming out to talk to me. I explained everything and he acknowledged everything and told the mechanic not to draw anymore and just dismissed everything. Don't EVER go here, very untrust worthy! I am very disappointed

I went to Bowens for the first time 2 years ago when I needed my car inspected. Marc and his staff are great, respectful and get the job done. They don't mention you need extra work done on your vehicle after the original job is complete. I also needed to take my car to Bowens for a new tire installation and they were very accommodating
