We attended the pupusa making class. The instructor was nice and informative, which was great. However, I am familiar with the dish and was very let down on the authenticity on the preparation of the class. Only the masa and cheese were provided. Pupusas are usually made with cheese, beans, pork or even chicken. It is also ALWAYS served with curtido, a cabbage vinegar slaw, which wasnt there either. For $40 a person they could’ve provided the other staple ingredients, especially considering the masa and cheese probably costed them $10 for the ENTIRE class. I just didn’t think it was worth it at all.

Always a good experience here. Wide variety of classes from a wide range of instructors. Easy to book. Small parking lot, but ample street parking.

We are so lucky to have this cool space in Rochester. There are so many different types of classes as well as fun art fairs/bazaars. Definitely worth checking out. Also a great space if you need somewhere to throw a party or have a photoshoot!

What a great place! Took a paper flower making class and surprised myself! The teacher was so lovely, the atmosphere was delightful, and the other participants were so nice. I'd definitely come here again to enjoy some light and fun learning!

Took a Gnocchi making class with my husband, and our instructor was Christina! She was very personable, and very informative! We made ricotta gnocchi and potato gnocchi! Both were great, and Christina had us take a recipe, we've made them at home as well! Highly recommend taking a class here! Affordable, and a fun date night!

We held my nieces wedding shower at the Brainery on Memorial Day Weekend. Nora had everything ready for us! Tables were set up in advance so we could just come in and decorate. The space is bright and clean and perfect for smaller parties. However they have two huge rooms at your disposal if you need more!!! Nora quietly went about and changed garbages and supported us with anything we needed and the day couldn’t have gone better. Our guests were thrilled and kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was. My niece was so happy with everything I can’t say enough great things!! Thank you Rochester Brainery for helping us throw a memorable shower!!!

Wife and I took a gnocchi making class here. It was a Tuesday and the class filled up pretty quick. Awesome to see! Our teacher Christina was a very good teacher and very helpful. She made a sauce for our gnocchi as she explained in detail how to make everything. In this class we made potato gnocchi mixing the potatoes and flour together. That's it It's that simple. She made a big batch of ricotta gnocchi that we then rolled out and cut. Everything was very tasty and broken down in easy instructions. We had a good time and would come back for more classes! Highly recommend taking a class here.

I hosted my sister's baby shower at the Rochester Brainery and it was amazing! The space is so beautiful and the staff are friendly and easy to work with :). I planned the shower from out of town and Danielle (the owner) sent me mock layouts for the space and answered my 1 million questions. I would highly recommend hosting events here!!
