i wish i had completed a review in a more timely manor, but unrelated issues intervened. I have used Ricci's numerous times in the past and found them to be fair in price - with work quality above average. This last pick up was 4 weeks ago, ( again i apologize for a very late review) frankly I was rather concerned in that the tie down was on a single wheel. The price was near double the last two times at 190.00 from Fairport to Canandaigua , When asked, he said "thats what she said" I had intended to pay cash as I have in the past but realized how uncomfortable I was with this driver and opted to use a credit card for my own protection. I will most assuredly will use them again but will establish pricing prior to pick up, and will not allow a haphazard hook up -- they are a good company with a most difficult job --- there was no need to make it more difficult

We had to wait over two hours for them to show up. Then the driver was an arrogant jerk. Very rude! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I personally have never even heard of this place but my daughter and her boyfriend needed a tow tonight so they used our AAA membership and unfortunately this is who took the call. I only wish they had remembered the drivers name. He was extremely unprofessional and absolutely relentless with trying to give them a hard time! The kids were having a rough night already by having to deal with being stranded along the road but then to have to wait over 2 hours for the jerk to finally show up (thankfully it was 65 degrees out), but then to have him treat them with the arrogant attitude? Are you kidding me? I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND I WILL CERTAINLY SPREAD THE WORD. This young man, is a disgrace to the company and they will continue to lose business. Horrible experience.

If i could leave 0 stars i would, I have used Ricky towing more than once and every interaction has not been a pleasant. Very unprofessional, Proceeded to beat on my vehicle to see if he could get it to start. Then refused to tow it. Fun fact. I have a video from the last Interaction with the Tow truck driver. He got in my face and said “I’ll smile for my mugshot”. Over All very bad service.

Initially called to tow a truck in December, however, they hooked it up wrong and the truck slid into a telephone pole, on State Route 5&20 at the Canandigua bypass. Shady people took advantage of an older woman. Inspection was illegal- our current mechanic won't let us drive it off their lot because it's unsafe. Recommend different, competent towing services, at least in the Canandaigua area.

Yesterday I got a flat tire on I490. I called AAA, Ricci & Sons arrived, and within 25 minutes I was back on the road. Prompt, fantastic service and solid advice from a very nice employee. Thanks!

This company was used to move my toolbox from one shop to another on Sept 13th. The driver/operator was extremely professional and unbelievably meticulous when taking care of my toolbox. I was greatly impressed with the entire experience! If they care for cars like they did my toolbox, I would very highly recommend them!! Thanks for taking such great care of my equipment!

They never tow when we call for towing at my job. We call they say they are going to be right out and hours later I call back saying the car moved. A waste of money truly and they guys are rude when you call

Just moved back to pittsford after living on the west side for 27 years and I DEFINITELY FOUND MY NEW TOWING AND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE COMPANY!!!!! CANT say enough !!!! Not only were they so nice when I called but they were here in a half hour. !! Less was amazing and fixed my brand tire that was flat and was such a nice guy and I felt really comfortable since I am a recent widow and my husband usually did this stuff. He was so professional and quick !!!! RICCI AND SONS HAVE A NEW CUSTOMER !!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!Service: Tire change

This is the second time this tow company and same tow truck operator has come to my house in three years. The gentleman who came is always so helpful. He has saved me a trip to the garage and fixed the car on the spot last time. And this time we have a new hybrid car, he was extremely knowledgeable. Also told us other tricks in similar situations with hybrids like these should they break down. For service he Gave us options. Told us he could help us but was worried about damaging brand new car because they would have to drag it out of the garage. His company doesn't have a dolly lift (?) because our hybrid safety mechanism where the parking brake is stuck on. He called AAA for us and arranged for them to send out appropriate people. He always arrives within 15 min of placing the call. Super helpful. I Was very happy when he was the one who pulled in our driveway. Thank you!!!

Worst appalling customer service I've ever experienced. This guy literally threatened to leave my truck multiple times, and started putting the flatbed back up if we didn't have a ride. The ride shouldn't matter to him at all. He argued about every single plausible reason why he couldn't show up. He said I didn't even want to come at all. He pulled my truck up sideways which made the flat tire come right off the rim while he was dragging it. This guy should be fired right away. I certainly wouldn't want him to represent my business in any way.Service: Local hauling
