I am shocked by the bad reviews. My family & I have been taking our cars there for the past 25 years or so. Never had a problem. Anyone on here complaining that he charged you $50 to diagnose the problem even though you didn't wind up getting the car fixed there is just being cheap. Seriously, a dealership won't even look at your car for under $100. That is their time you are paying for. As for the "rudeness," I admit that over the years Nando has become more "brusque." He is extremely busy & overbooked. Why? Because people continue to bring their cars to him WITH GOOD REASON. He used to be a sweetie, but I'm not paying for him to be sweet: I'm paying for him to be honest and for his guys to fix my car, which they do. The reason I go there is because he never tries to upsell me. He is honest and reasonable, and if you tell him you are broke or don't want to spend a fortune, he will create workarounds that are less expensive IF they are safe: mind you, I'm not saying he'll pass a car inspection if your brakes are shot or something. I will continue to take my family's cars there for as long as he is running the place.

My car broke down and was towed to nandos... I called to let them know I had the part that needed to be replaced, and they told me to pay cash. I was quoted $300 when if I took it to Monro, they wanted $250, including parts. I also had the connection to my battery that needed to be fixed. I quickly called and told them that I no longer wanted them to fix it because I could get it done so much cheaper and he was absolutely rude and obviously upset when I canceled.This man took apart my air-conditioning unit when it didn't need to be before even having the go ahead and didn't replace the freon! He also put DRY WALL NAILS to secure my battery connection!!! I had a car seat in the back, and this man took full advantage of a single mom. Now my check engine light is on, and I don't know what more he did to screw with my car.Do not send your vehicle here.

Had repairs done here for first time. driving home i hear a rattling noise Ive never heard coming from where the repairs were done. Scheduled to come back for them to look at it. drove with him down the road, he heard it, but starts literally screaming at me because I said Ive never heard the noise before, so he said i was accusing him of doing something wrong, and saying I was the problem, then refused to work on my car. Then when we got back, he went over to my ride and yelled at him about how he wont work on my car because I'm accusing him of something. I absolutely never made any accusations of anything. I just asked them to look at the car to see where the noise was coming from. His reaction was beyond over the top and a bit psychotic. Seems like this must happen a lot to fly of the handle so quickly and irrationally. Very unprofessional to say the least.Service: General repairs & maintenance
