They get no starts for me.. I went to cash my work check for the first time and the app on my phone said I still had access to the account until the little short guy with the glasses cashed my check. Then I walked out and my card didn’t work. I went back in to ask the teller for my check back and he lied and said he already put it threw.. He told me my money would be available 5 days after my first deposit.. Then my app tells me my account was locked.. I went back in and had them call customer service and they told me my account was closed.. they were going to make me another account but the problems I went threw made me not want to bank there anymore so I asked for my check back. Also the teller deposit my check without looking to see that the account was closed. I waited 2 hours for them to tell me @3:03pm and the bank manager told me there was nothing he can do now I’m waiting 5 days for a problem that could of been avoided because the unprofessionalism. A mistake that could of been avoided if the job was taken more seriously.. Now I have to wait to pay bills and I’m late and it’s messing up my credit that I’m trying to build because of the banks fault.. It’s very early in the month and bills are few and now I’m late and it’s effecting my credit score

After their ATM failed, jamming up my cash withdrawal I dealt with Kristi, the front desk employee. Kristi had me wait 30 minutes, insisting that only she could help me with this issue. After 30 minutes, all she did was pull up my account to tell me they put the withdrawal back in my account. Anyone could have done that there. Imagine wasting 30 minutes on your lunch break through no fault of your own, then being told "its handled already" and not getting an apology from the employee! Sorry, but this could be your first day on earth and recognize an apology is appropriate at that time, but not Kristi. If you visit this branch, just walk past the employee named Kristi at the front and deal with someome who can at least pretend to care about wasting your time while they fix their problem. Customer service doesn't exist in Kristi's world, apparently.

Business Owner. A former employee of mine stole a check for over 11K. Business identity theft situation. Business names looked similar but did not match. A kindergartner can tell the difference. Check was for 11,400. Despite me getting police involved immediately and alerting the bank immediately to issue a stop payment, 7 days after being repeatedly told that the check was stolen, forged and fraudulently deposited, M&T moved forward with clearing the check anyway. 137 days into a 90 day investigation, I was told that I would not be getting my money back because the business names matched. M&T ignores my pleas, calls, voicemails and emails. Customer service even ignores me. I whole heartedly believe that if I were not a black woman that I would have received my money back on Day 2 and some degree of compassion. Federal Reserve and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau are now involved. I am doing my part by bringing awareness. Black people please steer clear of M&T Bank. BLM.

I would give it a zero if I could the worst bank even and I not saying this branch I'm saying M&T all together every time I turn around there a fee they're charging you the worst bank I've ever had never did anyone try to take any fees always it's just oh that's what the bank charges I will be canceling my account

My job is located right down the street from this bank branch. Very convenient for me. They do a lot of training in this branch. The senior branch manager is Mr. Ian McLeod, and the Assistant vice President is Sherry Hebert. I give Ian and Sherry a lot of credit in the day to day operation of the bank as well as training their new employees. Ian and Sherry are very proud of their staff, and Sherry will always goes the extra mile for customer needs.

The teller was rude and gave bad customer service, she wasn't trying to listen to me and interrupted me as I tried to ask questions many times with an attitude of an answer.
